UPDATE 9:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in Gaza

**To remind you, the IDF has been busy over the past six months creating the Netzarin Corridor to separate northern and central Gaza:

Yesterday we had the announcement that just as the Philadelphi corridor has been completely paved from Israel to the Mediterranean, so has the Netzarim Corridor been completely paved. Here was a short video released yesterday on the Netzarim:

**The IDF Spokesman speaking yesterday:

“The Kfir Brigade combat team, under the command of the 162nd Division, completed their operational activities in the Beit Lahia area, during which the troops eliminated numerous terrorists and dismantled terror infrastructure sites both above and below ground. The troops are now continuing operational activity in northern Gaza.

Today, based on intelligence information indicating the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in the area, the troops began operating in the area west of Beit Hanoun. Prior to the entry of ground troops into the area, the IAF and IDF artillery struck terror targets, including Hamas terrorists and terror infrastructure sites. So far, the ground troops have eliminated a number of terrorists and dismantled terrorist infrastructure sites in the area.”

On the Ground in Lebanon

The war against Hezbollah continues even as there is a ceasefire.

**Yesterday, the IDF blew up this underground complex in south Lebanon:

**From the IDF Spokesman today regarding the rehabilitation of communities in northern Israel:

“Following the launch of its attack on Israel on Oct. 8th, 2023, the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired thousands of rockets, missiles and UAVs into Israel for over a year, causing significant damage to the northern Israeli communities. As part of efforts to create the conditions for the return of the northern residents to their homes, the IDF is conducting a wide-ranging operation to restore and clear up communities in northern Israel.

Engineering squads alongside other additional soldiers have been deployed and are operating across more than 40 communities in northern Israel and in civilian areas that were used as military assembly areas.

The forces are clearing military equipment, cleaning waste, and removing unexploded ordnances from the communities using engineering tools.

The Home Front and the Logistics Units of the Northern Command, in coordination with their civilian counterparts and in close cooperation with local authorities, have been working for over a year to establish conditions for the safe return of northern residents to their homes. This effort emphasizes the management of daily life in a secure environment.”

The IDF can clear the areas as much as possible, but until the threat of Hezabollah missiles and drones is completely eliminated, many Israelis will not return home.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

More Israelis working as spies for Iran were arrested yesterday leading to this analysis from Walla military correspondant Amir Bohbot:

“Iran has begun to consolidate activity against Israel in several areas, starting with arms smuggling and financing terrorism in Judea and Samaria, recruiting spies in Israel, carrying out cyber attacks, and attempting assassinations of Israelis in Israel and abroad. According to data presented to the government, since October 7 the Shin Bet has uncovered and thwarted 11 espionage and assassination attempts directed from Iran, with most of the incidents involving Israeli citizens. The Iranians operate in a variety of methods, the most prominent of which is through social networks and the use of giving money in exchange for performing missions.”

On the Ground in Iraq

Interestingly, the launching of missiles and drones against Israel from Iranian proxies in Iraq has almost completely stopped in the last two weeks.

With the elimination of Syrian air defenses, these proxies are completely vulnerable to Israeli attacks–which are surely on the way in the next few weeks.

On the Ground in Syria

Uber terrorist Ahmed Al-Sharaa (on the right below) turned leader of Syria met yesterday with Turkish FM Hakan Fidan in Damascus:

From Islamist terrorist clothing to suit and tie, it’s simply amazing how a terrorist who had a $10 million dollar bounty on his head is now the darling of the area.

Meanwhile in Ankara, Erdogan and the Turks continue their steady drumbeat that “Damascus has been conquered; next is Jerusalem.”

And so it goes this morning in the land of milk and honey . . . so far . . .
