Chag Purim Sameach! Happy Purim Holiday!

Purim of course is all about how Queen Esther and her uncle Mordechai saved the Jewish people. This is a photo taken this week at their graves in Hamadan, Iran (some Jews believe they are buried in a cave in Bar’am Israel):

Purim costumes have been in abundance this week, especially at Purim parties last night and again this morning. One of the most popular costumes this week is bittersweet as “Batman” recalls the clothes that we saw the Bibas children wearing:

On the Ground in Gaza

*Trump envoy Steve Witkoff submitted an updated proposal yesterday to Israel and Hamas to extend the ceasefire.

It would extend the ceasefire in Gaza until after Ramadan and Passover, which ends on April 20.

On the first day of the ceasefire, Hamas would release 5 live hostages and the bodies of 9 dead hostages.

“Humanitarian aid” to Gaza would be resumed.

*By the way, remember Trump “Hostage Envoy” Adam Boehler who made outrageous statements a few days ago after carrying on secret negotiations with a senior Hamas terrorist? Trump apparently fired him yesterday.

*IDF forces eliminated a number of Palestinian Hamas terrorists in central Gaza who were attempting to plant IEDs.

*Disturbing video appeared yesterday of Hamas members jumping off a pickup truck in front of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and severely beating two children with batons. This is a screen shot from that video:

On the Ground in the North

In Syria:

*From the IDF spokesman:

“The IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike on a terrorist command center belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization in Damascus. The command center was used to plan and direct terrorist activities by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad against the State of Israel.

The IDF will not allow terrorist organizations to entrench themselves in Syrian territory and operate against the State of Israel, and will respond forcefully to any such entrenchment.

The IDF will continue to act against Palestinian terrorist organizations wherever necessary and will continue to operate to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”

*Israeli aid convoys began reaching the Druze city of As-Sweida in southern Syria yesterday:

*Defense Minister Katz approved the entry of more than 100 Druze sheikhs from Syria into Israel to visit the holy Druze compound in the Galilee near Karnei Hittim where the Druze believe their Prophet Shuaib is buried.

In Lebanon:

*The IAF struck multiple Hezbollah targets in Lebanon yesterday including a strike at a Hezbollah missile factory, and Hezbollah assets near Janta deep in the Bekaa Valley.

On the Jordanian Border

Two terrorists were shot while attempting to infiltrate Israel near Beit She’an.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

*From the Police Spokesman:

“During the morning hours, a shepherd was alone in an area near the community of Ma’ale Amos, when he was attacked by a masked Palestinian.

According to the report, the suspect arrived at the scene and began throwing stones at the shepherd. When the latter tried to escape, the suspect chased him and brutally attacked him with stones, hitting him in the head and ribs.

The shepherd managed to reach the gate of the Ma’ale Amos settlement. Medical teams called to the scene provided him with initial medical treatment, and he was taken to the hospital in a minor condition (according to medical sources) with head injuries.”

*Palestinian terrorists from Walja threw six Molotovs at houses in Mt. Gilo.

On the Ground In Israel

In an astonishing interview on the far-left Channel 12 station in Israel yesterday, former Shin Bet head Nadav Argaman threatened PM Netanyahu stating that if he believes Netanyahu is “breaking the law”, he will reveal the contents of all of the private conversations between them.

Argaman’s comment is nothing more than apparently brazen blackmail. Who ever heard of a former security chief threatening a sitting prime minister with revelations of their confidential conversations about the country’s security?

In the United States

We here at OneIsrael do not usually comment about what is happening in the U.S., but the events at the Trump Tower in New York yesterday were so egregious that they demand comment.

What could have been more nauseating than a group of far-left, red-shirted “Jews” staging a sit-in at the hotel ostensibly to demand the immediate release of Mahmoud Khalilthe egregiously vehement pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian inciter at Columbia University who has been arrested and is awaiting deportation at a facility in Louisiana?

Note some of the signs at the sit-in:

“Jews for Palestinian freedom”, “Jews say do not comply”, “Not in our name”, “Stop Arming Israel”–were some of the messages they conveyed.

Just sickening.

Fortunately the members this group of self-hating Jews who only use their Jewishness to attack Israel were summarily arrested.

On the Economic Front

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has reported record revenues in 2024 of $6.1 billion. Not only that but also the company has a backlog of $25 billion in orders

Elsewhere El Al Airlines posted a net profit of $545 million for 2024, 4.7 times its profit in 2023.

And so it goes on a hazy Purim morning (the haze has beset Israel for the last week) . . . so far . . .
