Who Exploits Palestinian Children? Palestinian Mothers and the PLO

UPDATES

**The Islamic Wakf continues to dig on the Temple Mount–especially in the area of the Kipat HaSela (the Dome of the Rock). Why Israel permits this Muslim group to bring large and small tractors to an area of Israeli sovereignty and dig at the holiest place in Judaism is simply incomprehensible.

Who knows what the Wakf is destroying? Who knows what holy treasures of Jewish history are being desecrated?

**Palestinian terrorist attacks on buses in and around Jerusalem continue unabated. Israelis are wounded day in and day out. Earlier today, a 62 year old Israeli was “moderately wounded” when a “rock” was thrown through the window of the bus on which he was riding.

The Jerusalem police seem completely incapable to bringing these assaults to a halt.

**A coalition of “human rights” organizations claimed today that less that 25% of the $3.5 billion dollars pledged for the reconstruction of Gaza by donors has actually been paid–and that Palestinian Gaza “remains in ruins”.

Of course, most of Gaza was untouched by Israeli retaliatory attacks last summer. Only two or three neighborhoods, notably Shuja’iyah, were leveled–and they were attacked because of the intense missile fire and elaborate tunnel networks emanating from them.

They should never be rebuilt.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Speaking of so-called “human rights” organizations, “Human Rights Watch” is out today with yet another report condemning Israel.

Today’s report condemns Israel for its “exploitation” of Palestinian children as agricultural workers in Judea and Samaria. As usual, all of the “evidence” Human Rights Watch gives is manufactured from “statements” given by Palestinians.

But if you really want to talk about the exploitation of Palestinian children, you need to look no further than the PLO–and Palestinian mothers (we’ll save “fathers” for a different day).

About a month ago, in honor of International Women’s Day, the PLO Prison Affairs Authority decided to hold an event in honor of Palestinian terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails.

To focus the event, the Authority decided to honor Umm Nasser Abu Hameid as a heroic paragon of Palestinian womanhood and motherhood.

Why was Abu Hameid honored?

Abu Hameid gave birth to 10 sons. One son was killed while carrying out a terrorist attack against Israelis. Four more are serving a combined 18 life sentences for carrying out the murders of Israeli men, women, and children.  Her other 5 sons are currently in Israeli prisons on terrorist offenses.

The head of the Authority, Issa Karaka, gave Abu Hameid a plaque and flowers with the comments:

“Sincere appreciation is given to you because of your role as a generator of the men and the future, and in recognition of your long sacrifice–through the birth, education and guidance of your children.”

The birth, education, and guidance of her children–all of whom were taught to hate and kill Jews.

Where is Human Rights Watch?  Why doesn’t it condemn Palestinian exploitation of Palestinian children? Where are the other “human rights” organizations that so habitually condemn Israel?

Nowhere to be seen.

There are no human rights for Israelis and Jews.
