Once Again Israel Abandons Sovereignty at the Temple Mount

UPDATES

6 pm Israel time, Friday, April 17 2015

**It has been a particularly violent two days hours in eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria with one Israeli murdered and 13 more wounded with varying degrees of injury. All told, there have been nearly 50 violent attacks this week.

Some of the worst attacks yesterday: a Palestinian terrorist tried to run over a soldier near Hebron; Palestinian terrorists firebombed several vehicles on the Hussan bypass road; Palestinian terrorists threw “rocks” at vehicles and a bus near Talmonim; an IDF soldier was badly wounded when hit with an IED in Palestinian riots at Bethany; and dozens of Palestinians rioted near Ofer Prison.

The young woman who was critically wounded in the terrorist attack yesterday that killed Shalom Yochai Sharki has slightly improved.

**Good news on the economic front: Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released data yesterday showing that the Israeli economy grew at an annual rate of 7% in the fourth quarter of last year. This was in marked contrast to the third quarter in which the economy only grew by 0.4% because of the war with Hamas.

**In other economic news, sixteen European foreign ministers called on the European Union yesterday to label products made or produced in Jewish communities across the 1949 Armistice Lines with information as to their origin.

Israeli officials immediately reacted with FM Lieberman leading the way. Lieberman cynically suggested that if the EU is going to label Israeli products, it should use the Yellow Star that was used to brand Jews during the Holocaust:

jewish-star-holocaustActually, such marking is virtually here already. In a Europe which is again falling into the moral abyss and attacking Jews as it did in the 1930s, BDS activists are already marking Israeli foods with a yellow label:

TODAY’S BLOG:

It is often important to restate the fact that the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem (Har HaBeit) is the holiest place in Judaism. It is the site on which the First and Second Jewish Temples stood, and it is a site under complete Israeli sovereignty.

This week we had yet another example of how the Israeli government has absolutely abandoned that sovereignty.

It is denominated as insanity because it is acknowledged as one of the best herbal supplements to control premature ejaculation are the best viagra online in uk for this sexual disorder. At first glance, it seemed like a superficial event: the Jordanian Islamic Wakf decided to replace all of the rugs and carpets in the Kipat HaSela (The Dome of the Rock) with new carpets supplied by the Jordanian royal family.

But nothing that happens at the Kipat HaSela is superficial. Built over the Foundation Stone on which rested the Ark of the Covenant at the site of the destroyed First and Second Jewish Temples, the Kipat HaSela is supposed to be a site strictly administered by Israel.

Nothing is supposed to be done at the Dome without the supervision of Israeli archaeologists of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).  In this case, the archaeologists were not even informed of the work being done–and only found out when Muslim workers took pictures which made their way into the social media.

The photographs revealed that not only were the carpets being replaced but also that flagstones and tiles in the floor were being displaced. More than this, the photographs revealed some mosaics long unseen in the cave below the Foundation Stone.

The IAA immediately filed protests with the Jerusalem Police who only responded by ordering that the archaeologists not try to ascend the Mount and inspect what was going on.  The police even posted a guard at the site to prevent archaeologists from trying to enter.

Finally, the IAI lodged an urgent protest with the Minister of Construction, Uri Ariel, who demanded that the work be halted.

But by that time, the work had been completed and the damage had been done.

This is just another outrageous example of how Muslims are busy at work destroying Jewish holy sites on the Temple Mount everyday–with the complete complicity of Israel.
