**On the Egyptian front:

The Egyptian Army reports that 35 more terrorists were killed in Sinai fighting overnight, bringing to more than 150 that have been killed since the terror attacks on Wednesday.

It turns out that 9 leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood were killed two nights ago by Egyptian special forces in Cairo, and President Sisi vowed yesterday to carry through with the death sentences that have been handed down to Brotherhood members in recent months–including the one given to former Egyptian President Morsi.

Route 12 in Israel that runs along the Egyptian border is now closed to all but military traffic.

In an astonishing interview yesterday, the infamous IDF Coordinator of the infamous IDF COGAT division, Gen. Yoav Mordechai, proclaimed that Israel has specific information that Hamas in Gaza is helping IS carry out attacks in Egypt.

Why is this astonishing? Because it is Mordechai’s COGAT that is facilitating the rearming of Gaza and the reconstruction of Hamas tunnels.  And it is Mordechai’s COGAT that devised all the “Ramadan gestures” that have caused terrorist attacks in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.

**Daily life in Israel:

144,000 cars were delivered to Israel for sale in the first six months of this year–an increase of 6.2% over last year’s all time record.  What cars are Israeli favorites? Hyundai (19,061), Kia (17,821), Toyota (16,119), Mazda (10,625), and Mitzubishi (9,184).

**Israeli athletes excel:

12 medals were won by Israeli athletes in the European championship games that just concluded in Baku. Three medals in judo, four in gymnastics, two in swimming, one in 10 meter air-rifle, and one in women’s freestyle wrestling were among the Israeli haul.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Ramadan Day 15 (yesterday):

Palestinians celebrated Ramadan in the last 12 hours by assaulting a train of the Jerusalem Light Rail system at the Shuafat station. 8 windows of the train were smashed; numerous passengers had to be treated by MADA for shock.

More celebrations took place in Hebron. Once again, an attempt by the Israeli government to make a gesture of peace–this time by absurdly closing the Cave of the Patriarchs to Jews–was reciprocated by a terrorist attempt to stab Border Guards. Fortunately the Palestinian terrorist was captured before anyone was wounded.

Meanwhile even more Ramadan celebrants roamed the forests of Israel setting fires. A particularly bad fire near Maaleh Hahamisha near Jerusalem is still raging out of control.

This morning has seen more celebrations with celebrants in Qalandiya surrounding an IDF partrol and attacking them with “rocks”. Unfortunately for one of the terrorist celebrants, he was shot dead by the soldiers.

By the way, little of any of these Ramadan terror attacks are being reported in the mainstream news here. Each time a major incident occurs, the police rush to a court to get a gag order placed on news coverage. Just yesterday, gag orders were placed on news coverage concerning the murder of Malachi Rosenfeld and on the shooting attack against the MADA ambulance that occurred several days ago.

The police simply do not want people to realize the extent of the terrorism being perpetrated. It’s the same philosophy that leads the IDF to lie about every missile launch out of Gaza (false alarm, nothing was fired, fell in Gaza, not Hamas, etc).

Finally, the good news is that no Israelis were murdered by terrorists yesterday thanks to the quick actions of Border Guards and IDF soldiers. The bad news is that we are only half way through Ramadan.
