Palestinian Terrorists Nearly Burn To Death Israeli Woman Last Night

**Palestinian terror attacks continue unabated . . .

There have been several egregious attacks overnight in which Palestinian terrorists attempted to burn Israelis alive. The most horrific one was at Beit Hanina (see Today’s Blog), but early this morning between midnight and 1:30 am there were a number of attacks in the vicinity of Karmi Tsur.

In one attack, an Israeli bus was firebombed with numerous Molotov cocktails, and in others, individual cars were targeted. Miraculously, there are no reports of physical wounds.

**While Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem burn . . .

At almost exactly the same moment as the attacks at Karmi Tsur were taking place, where was the IDF?  Protecting Israeli citizens? Nope.

The IDF rolled into the Yovel neighborhood of the Eli community with soldiers, a jackhammer crane, and a bulldozer to destroy a Jewish home and part of another one.

The IDF action was in response to a “Peace Now” petition to the Israel Supreme Court claiming that the Yovel neighborhood is “illegal.”  If there is any good news to come out of the IDF action, it is that Yovel will soon receive final authorization from the government.

Tamar Ashraf of the Benyamin Regional Council facetiously thanked Peace Now for accelerating that authorization.

**Palestinian terrorism is not just about “rocks” and Molotov cocktails . . .

80 jojoba trees belonging to the Jewish community of Ashalim were cut down and uprooted, and irrigation piping was destroyed yesterday.

In response, one of the leaders commented that “we will continue to develop our agriculture and our community which is growing stronger every day. We will not give in to terrorism.”

**The United States just doesn’t get it . . .

A delegation of senior officials of the Obama Administration are currently in Israel attempting to make Israelis feel better about the Iranian Nuclear Appeasement Agreement.

Yesterday they failed miserably.

We had one official telling us that the Obama Administration looks at Israel the same way it looks at any NATO country such as Luxembourg or Albania. In other words, Israelis can forget that they have any sort of “special” relationship with the United States.

The same official belittled the fact that Israel is objecting to the advanced military capabilities that the Obama Administration is in the process of giving to the Gulf countries: “We hear these objections all the time.”

But the main point that has left Israelis exasperated was the comment that should Iran attack Israel, the U.S. will defend us.

Here’s a news flash for Obama and his minions: if Iran attacks Israel with just 1 nuclear bomb, half of the population of the country will be dead in the first five minutes. There will be little of Israel left to defend.

It is impossible to overstate the terror situation that currently exists in Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem. Anyone who is driving a car, or walking down a street, or standing at a bus stop, or doing any one of a hundred other daily activities is a target for Palestinian terrorists.

In the last four days, dozens of Molotov cocktails have been thrown at the residents of eastern Jerusalem–both civilians and security personnel. Homes and businesses have been attacked, motorists assaulted, and individuals targeted. In each case, the intent of the the terrorists was to burn Israelis to death. In fact, a number of Israelis have been hospitalized with burns.

In most cases, the police do nothing in response to these attacks–or by the time they arrive on the scene, the terrorists are long gone. For example, residents of Silwan were complaining three days ago about it taking hours for police to show up to their homes that were on fire. When they finally did, the residents had extinguished the fires, but the terrorists were nowhere to be found.

For the most part, the mainstream Israeli media does not cover this Palestinian terrorism–and one certainly never sees mention of it in the international press.

Last night, we had a particularly bad Molotov attack which did happen to get covered simply because it occurred right after the beginninge of the news hour.

A 27 year old woman was driving her car on Road 20; her husband was riding beside her in the front seat. At the Beit Hanina Junction near Pisgat Ze’ev, their car was attacked by Palestinian terrorists throwing Molotov cocktails.

xxcarImmediately the inside of the car caught on fire. As did the woman driving the car.

Two bystanders rushed in to help the woman as the husband dragged himself out of the car.  One of those bystanders, an IDF soldier named David Domanski, managed to get her out but in the process suffered serious burns to his hands.

And what happened to the woman? She is currently in the Burn Trauma and Plastic Surgery Unit at Shaare Zedek hospital with second and third degree burns over 25% of her body. Most badly burned were her legs and feet.

Were it not for the heroic actions of David Domanski and the other unnamed bystander, she would surely be dead.

Have you read about this terror incident in your local news today? Has the Ban Ki-Moon condemned it at the United Nations? What has European FM Federica Mogherini had to say? And what announcement did John Kerry and Barack Obama make?

Your humble servant knows that you do not need me to answer those questions.
