UPDATES 6:00 pm Israel time

–>Palestinian terror today.

A bizarre Palestinian stabbing attack in Hebron today just before 1:00 pm: a female terrorist acting suspiciously was stopped near the Avraham Avinu neighborhood by soldiers from Kfir Brigade. When asked for an ID, she pulled a knife out and lunged at the soldiers. They responded by trying to push her back–whereupon she began stabbing at Palestinian civilians. One Palestinian was badly wounded.

At this point she was shot and killed.

The timely end of another Palestinian terrorist.

–>Birds of a feather flock together.

Two losers meet in Europe. If there were ever a picture that better epitomized our so-called “Defense” Minister Moshe Ya’alon, your humble servant would like to see it.

Ya’alon has never missed a chance to kiss Kerry’s hind end, and today in Munich was no exception. Kerry is a man who has worked tirelessly to support Iran’s nuclear program and elevate Iran to a regional superpower. In the process, he has put every Israeli at risk.

But you would never know it to see Ya’alon.

–>Egypt opens the Rafah Crossing (for how long no one knows).

For the first time in 70 days, Egypt opened the Rafah Crossing in both directions today. Most of the traffic has been one way–from Gaza into Egypt.

–>We know that Israel is responsible for every problem in the world, but this is ridiculous.

Jewish voice

This is actually on the website of the Boston branch of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP). JVP, as if you cannot tell from the above blurb,  is one of the most egregiously anti-Israel organizations on the planet.

–>More than 200,000 Israelis have been out in nature this weekend.

Mt. Hermon today. Look closely at the picture: in the foreground, you can see a few skiers. But look at the bridge in the background that is packed with people waiting to go up to the top of the mountain on Israel's only ski lift (photo: Walla).

From the snowy slopes of Mt. Hermon to the red-poppied fields of southern Israel, Israelis have reveled in the weather to ski, swim, hike, and picnic in Israel today.
