10:49 pm: Israel man stabbed in the back at the Lion’s Gate in the Old City. Israeli in “serious condition”; terrorist escapes (see picture below).

This blurry picture from a security camera shows the Palestinian approaching the religious man less than an hour ago. He stabbed him within seconds of when this picture was made.

***A brief selection of Palestinian terror today:

Two stabbing attacks have taken place during the day–neither of which has been explained by the police who are reluctant, as always, to call any attack “terrorism.” In the first stabbing, an 80 year old man was stabbed on Hayarkon Street in Tel Aviv. In the second, a 25 year old man was stabbed on Eilat Street in Kfar Yona.

Meanwhile (remember our blog yesterday?), there have been “rock” attacks in Silwan, Hevron, Shuafat, Balata, Ras al-Amud, Um Salmona, Ni’lin, Y’abad, and many other locations as well as Molotov attacks at Psagot, Rachel’s Tomb, Abu Sneineh, and Ramallah among other places.

By the way, Hamas has now started publishing monthly “updates” on the terrorism that its members have perpetrated against Israeli children, women, and men. Hamas said today that during April, it carried out 14 stabbings, 3 shootings, 2 car rammings, and 1 bus bombing.

Your humble servant certainly hopes not, but unfortunately, all signs point to the Herzog-Livni party joining the government in the near future.

Apparently, we will soon see the unmitigated disaster of: Yitzhak Herzog as Foreign Minister, Shelly Yachimovich as Minister of the Economy, Tzipi Livni as Chief Negotiator with the Palestinians and perhaps even Justice Minister (if the Beit Yehudi party is kicked out of the government by Netanyahu).

Again, such a government would be a catastrophe for Israel.

Allow your humble servant to walk you through the picture.

It was taken at Bir Zeit University and is of a stand-up poster being used in a student election campaign last week.

The stand-up poster was produced by the student movement of the Fatah Movement–a movement which is specifically headed by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. This is the same Abbas who constantly poses as a “man of peace” in English, but remains the terrorist he always has been in Arabic.

The poster is a picture of the entire country of Israel in the shape of a knife which is dripping blood. From the black handle in the “north” to the Palestinian flag in the center, to the red in the “south”, the poster is as clear an example of Palestinian incitement as you will ever see.

Oh yes, we almost forgot, what do you think the Arabic on the poster reads?
