Protecting Human Rights

Today, the Israeli Attorney General announced that his department is probing two “anti-Arab” websites on Facebook. If you are reading this blog, you undoubtedly know of the tens of thousands of websites and Facebook pages devoted to “anti-Jewish” and “anti-Israeli” rants. Most of these originate in countries supposedly devoted to protecting human rights. Are they ever investigated by the governments who single out Israel for opprobrium? Do any of the so-called human rights advocates who hourly criticize Israel ever call for the investigation of these websites? Of course not.  We live in a world where “protecting human rights” largely means protecting the human rights of those who are anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist.
