UPDATES 8 am Israel time

Palestinian terror unreported by the mainstream media yesterday

An Israeli family was in this car, hit by a "rock" at Hawara.

An Israeli family was in this car, hit by a “rock” at Hawara.

Which of these did you read about in your local news yesterday or today?

An attempted stabbing by a Palestinian terrorist thwarted at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron? IEDs thrown at Jewish worshipers at the Tomb of Rachel near Bethlehem? Motorists traumatized and cars badly damaged by Palestinian “rock” throwers at Adora and Hawara–and at least 10 other places?

Of course you didn’t read about these because the mainstream media–international and Israeli–does not want to report incidents like the above because they don’t fit into their narrative of “the Palestinians are victims.”

…The IDF Central Command embarks on new training…

It should come as no surprise that the IDF marksmanship training course is now training soldiers to “neutralize” the enemy instead of killing him.

Out on the target range, cardboard targets are now placed at “knee” height instead of the older full body–full size targets.

As one commentator says, “our soldiers, instead of being trained to conquer and destroy the enemy, are now being given a new goal–to protect the lives of the enemy by applying minimum required strength.”

The commentator continues: “In seeking this new goal, the soldier becomes worthless in combat situations. What military force does not train combat troops to fight the enemy, but instead police units to disperse demonstrations? What happens when the soldiers face real military threats? This training will have have far-reaching consequences when the next war comes.”

…No Israeli would believe it, but. . .

Travel and Leisure magazine has just issued its ranking of the best airport terminals in the world.

Here are the top 6:

Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, South Korea, Zurich, and . . .drumroll please . . . Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

Ben Gurion Airport? Always packed to the gills and the original home of long lines?

Yes, Ben Gurion airport, so your humble servant supposes we should all stop complaining so much.

Doesn’t this photograph of a Palestinian mother and child just pull at your heartstrings? And doesn’t it make you enraged that this poor Palestinian child cannot receive the surgery he needs because evil Israel will not permit him into the country to receive that surgery?

Of course, if you are a regular denizen of israelstreet, your heartstrings aren’t really being pulled and you are not enraged at all.

Why?

Because you have been trained never to believe anything that UNRWA ever publishes or says.

And this picture and message is no exception.

It turns out that the poor parents of the poor Palestinian child Ali Farahat have never told anyone–except the UNRWA propaganda machine–that their child needed surgery.

Nor, obviously, have the poor parents of the poor Palestinian child ever applied for him to receive medical treatment in Israel.

Because if poor little Ali Farahat really was in need of surgery, and his poor parents really had applied for medical treatment, they would have received permission to enter Israel.

Just like more than 15,000 other Palestinians from Gaza, Judea, and Samaria during the past six months.

Yes, you read that correctly.

15,000+.

That is how many Palestinians have received medical treatment in Israel since January of this year. Everyone from Hamas Gaza President Ismail Haniyeh’s daughter, grand-daughter, and mother-in-law to PLO Chief Mahmoud Abbas’ brother.

And poor Ali Farahat can’t get out of Gaza.

What a pathetic joke.

But not an ineffective one. All it takes is one fraudulent tweet from the ever-fraudulent UNRWA, and all of the so-called and self-proclaimed “humanitarians” in the world arise to berate Israel.  These “humanitarians” do not have a clue about the actual situation on the ground here.

All they know is what the UNRWAs of the world feed them.

*UNRWA is the “United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine.” Its goals are to perpetuate the bogus Palestinian victimhood narrative, foster Palestinian dependence on international agencies, and perpetuate UNRWA itself by creating ever-more Palestinian “refugees.”
