TODAY’S BLOG:

Just yesterday, it was revealed that Brussels Airlines has stopped offering small packages of Achva halva because a passenger complained that the halva was produced in a factory in “disputed territory.”

The dessert package of Ahva halva that has been booted off of Brussels Airlines.

A spokesman for Brussels blathered this nonsense:

“The customer who came to us with the complaint brought to our attention that the aforementioned dessert is a controversial product. As a company which serves an international audience full of people from a wide rang of backgrounds and cultures, it is our responsibility to present products which will be amicable to all, and therefore, we decided to change desserts.”

One wonders if the spokesman knows that the Achva factory in question employs Palestinians, Israeli-Arabs, Jews, Samaritans, and Jewish community members from Judea and Samaria.

Immediately, a movement has begun among Israelis to boycott Brussels Airlines, and there are reports today of a wave of ticket cancellations. Here are some comments from Israelis yesterday:

Your humble servant is happy to see Israelis fighting back, but is even happier to see Israelis taking pro-active steps to fight BDS.

To that end, there is welcome news this morning that in the coming months a new website will be appearing. Modeled after Amazon.com, the site will only offer products made in Judea and Samaria. Even more than this, there will be a travel component as well in which individuals and groups will be able to purchase travel packages.

For those who are religiously inclined, there will also be tours geared toward Jews and Christians to historical places in Judea and Samaria.

Your humble servant can hardly wait for these products and tours to go online.

In the meantime, don’t fly Brussels, and click on this link to buy Achva!
