The Paris Conference Begins Where 2334 Left Off

Palestinian terror in the last two days . . .

*This morning, terrorists in Gaza opened fire at an IDF patrol operating near the Gaza border fence. No soldiers were wounded; shortly thereafter, an IDF tank targeted Hamas sand dunes in retaliation.

*As usual, “rocks” and Molotovs have been the terror instruments of the day as terrorists attacked Israeli security personnel and civilians at Nehemiah, A-Ram, Hevron, Hizma, Kibbutz Migdal, the Qalandiya checkpoint, Betar, Gush Etzion, A-Tur, just outside of Ariel, Biddu, Deir Nizam, on Highway 25 near Dimona, and about 20 other places.

No one was physically wounded in the above attacks, but who knows how many were traumatized?

Qatar comes to the rescue . . .

It was announced this morning that Qatar will supply $12 million dollars to Hamas over the next three months for the purchase of fuel to operate the power plant in Gaza.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Good joke.

Does anyone really believe that the $12 million will be spent on fuel?

It is worthwhile remembering that Qatar has been the main financier behind the construction of the tunnels in Gaza, the vast underground Hamas command and control headquarters, and the purchase of innumerable weapons from Libya and Iran.

The Breaking the Silence effect

For the past few months, Education Minister Naftali Bennett has been fighting a battle to keep the abominable organization Breaking the Silence out of Israeli high schools. In self-described “liberal” schools it has become the fashion to invite the group in to talk about how the IDF allegedly persecutes the poor Palestinians.

To some degree Bennett has been successful, and in other cases parent protests have stopped such “talks.”

However, it has come to light that an increasing number of students who graduate high school from those high schools visited by Breaking the Silence are claiming to be “conscientious objectors” in order to dodge military service.

The government is now trying to crack down on this “movement” by sentencing its ringleaders to prison time when they refuse to report for service.

The Paris Conference Begins Where 2334 Left Off

As predicted, the self-proclaimed Paris “Peace” Conference has begun where the infamous UN Security Council resolution 2334 left off. Not only have the delegates to the conference affirmed that eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria should be judenrein (Jew-free), but they have proclaimed that President-elect Trump’s proposed move of the American Embassy to Jerusalem would have disastrous results for the “two-state” solution.

None of this surprising, but it underscores once again how alone Israel is, and how the rest of the world has become enslaved to the Palestinian narrative.

Permit your humble servant to state the obvious truth again: the two-state solution–as expressed by the Palestinian and world community–is dead.

Dead. Dead. Dead.

There is no way that Israel will ever return to the 1949 Armistice Lines. There is no way that nearly 800,000 Israeli Jews will ever move out of Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem. There is no way that the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, and the Temple Mount will ever be handed over to the Palestinians.

It will never happen. Ever.

And to claim that Israeli “settlements” are to blame for the end of the two-state solution is the height of insanity. What has brought about the end of the two-state solution is Arab and Palestinian rejection.

In 1947, the Arabs rejected the UN Partition of Palestine.

Between 1949-1967, the Arabs rejected the creation of a Palestinian state in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria–rejected it in land the Jordanians controlled.

In the aftermath of the 1993-4 Oslo Accords, the Palestinians rejected a Palestinian state and began suicide bombings in Israel.

In 2000, the Palestinians rejected the Israeli offer from Ehud Barak of 92% of the “West Bank”, a road connecting the “West Bank” and Gaza, and an office for Yasser Arafat on the Temple Mount. Instead they started the 2nd intifada and sent more than 150 suicide bombers into Israel who killed more than 1100 Israelis.

In 2005, the Palestinians rejected the “Gaza First” initiative of Ariel Sharon who unilaterally withdrew all of the Jewish communities from Gaza. Instead they launched tens of thousands of missiles at Israel (and continue to launch them).

In 2007, the Palestinians rejected the Ehud Olmert offer of 96% of the “West Bank” along with 4% land in Israel.

And throughout all of this, the Palestinians have adamantly rejected recognition of Israel as a Jewish state.

The bottom line today is that the Paris Peace Conference is a farce being perpetrated by flatulent idiots who like to call themselves “diplomats.”
