The One Way Peace Process Absurdly Starts Again

UPDATE (6:00 pm Monday): An ultra-orthodox man was injured this morning by an Arab assailant wielding an axe near the Damascus Gate.

Terrorist axe attack at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem today. Note the axe on the ground beside the ultra-orthodox victim's hat. How many peace processes led us to this point?

Impending rocket sirens heard throughout the country in the last hour–apparently a false alarm. Ehud Barak absurdly orders Jewish community members to leave their house near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron. Israel Supreme Court rules against the Husseini family’s petition to gain ownership of the Shepherd Hotel in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Here we go again.

Despite the fact that the Palestinians withdrew from the peace negotiations in Amman in January–

Despite the fact the Palestinians continue to pursue reconciliation with Hamas (Abbas met with Hamas representatives in Cairo this weekend)–

Despite the fact that the Palestinians continue to pursue every anti-Israel measure in the United Nations (most recently getting the Human Rights Council to “probe” Israeli communities in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria)–

Despite the fact that the Palestinians have stated unequivocally that they will never accept a “Jewish state of Israel”–

Despite the fact that the Palestinians have stated unequivocally that they will not return to the negotiating table until Israel stops building homes, schools, and hospitals in the Jewish communities in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria–

Despite the fact that the Palestinians have stated unequivocally that they will not return to the negotiating table until Israel accepts the “pre-1967” lines as the basis of  future borders with a Palestinian state–

Despite the fact that the Palestinians have stated unequivocally that they will not return to the negotiating table until Israel releases more Palestinian terrorists from Israeli prisons–

If the major dosage your physician prescribed for you does not work, don’t try and improve the dosage by your self, tell your physician about it and let him determine on what to do, you price tadalafil tablets https://unica-web.com/members/pologne.html will discover risk in overdosing with this drug, you could have priapism and feel me that’s one particular thing you never want to disappoint her sexual system that can satiate. It has discount generic levitra become the main treatment of ED and unbeatable by its other contenders. In the same purchase viagra online Go Here way, erectile dysfunction is one that can break a man’s potential from inside out.
Despite the fact that the Palestinians have never made even one concession for peace–

Despite all of this, Israel is once again being pressured by the Quartet to return to the negotiating table with the Palestinians.

Quartet envoy Tony Blair, who apparently has taken up permanent residence in Israel and has nothing else to do with his time, met with PM Netanyahu and PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on Sunday.

Blair has unbelievably been urging Israel to make “economic gestures” to the Palestinians such as giving the Palestinians greater access to Area C (the area comprising the 62 percent of Judea and Samaria that is under Israeli control) so that the Palestinians will agree to talk about peace again–and Israel has absurdly indicated its willingness to do so.

Today, Blair is apparently presenting Israel’s latest “economic incentives package” to the Jordanians in Amman and to the Palestinians in Ramallah.

And why isn’t Blair presenting Israel with the Palestinians’ latest offers for peace? Again, it is simply because the Palestinians never make any offers for peace.  Israel is now in the ridiculous position of having to make offers to the Palestinians so they will just “talk about” peace.

Of course what will happen is that the Palestinians will accept the package–but they will not engage in a true peace process. They never have and they never will.

In sum, as far as your humble servant is concerned, the self-proclaimed Quartet can take its peace process and  . . .  (I leave it to you, dear reader, to finish the sentence).
