UPDATE 9:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

Capt. Ben Zion Falach, 21 years old, from Nitzani Oz, a combat officer in the 202nd Battalion, Parachute Brigade, died yesterday (Wednesday) in a battle in southern Lebanon.

May His Memory Be For A Blessing.

Six More Hezbollah Missile Attacks Since 17:00 PM (our last update)

17:26 Tel Hai, Misgav Am, Kiryat Shmona; 18:12 Metulla; 18:23 Avivim, Yir’on; 18:46 Zivon; 19:00 Tzfat; 20:02 Kiryat Shmona.

As you can see from the updates today, there have been some 40 Hezbollah barrages on northern Israel and the Galilee and Golan today. Those 40 barrages included around 250 missiles.

*From the IDF Spokesman:

“Air force warplanes killed yesterday (Wednesday) the terrorist Khader Al-Shahabiya, who was in command of the Mount Dov region of Hezbollah.

Khader was responsible for firing the rockets at Majdal Shams in July, in which 12 children were murdered.

Khader commanded hundreds of TMS and anti-tank missile launches to IDF positions in Mount Dov, Hermon and the north of the Golan Heights.”

*President Joe Biden and his minions are doing everything in their power to thwart Israeli plans to attack Iran–by leaking to the press what Israel intends to do.

It is the same tactic that Bidenites have used in Gaza and in Lebanon.

Today, Biden proclaimed to the world that Israel is planning “possible strikes on Iranian oil sites.”

By the way, Biden’s proclamation, in addition to warning Iran, sent oil prices soaring.

*There has apparently been another attack in Yemen at the port of Hodeidah–this time by American and British airplanes.

UPDATE 5:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

*6 more Hezbollah missile attacks since our last update at 13:00 PM:

13:09 Metzuba, Shlomi, Hanita; 14:28 Ramot Naftali; 14:31 Gadot, Katzrin; 14:47 Rosh HaNikra; 16:00 Kfar Giladi; 16:30 Arab Al Naim, Sakhnin, Arab al-Aramshe, Majd al-Krum.

*Just released by the IDF Spokesman:

“A short time ago, Air Force fighter jets under the intelligence direction of the intelligence wing, attacked targets of the intelligence headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Beirut, including the unit’s operatives, means of collection, headquarters and other infrastructure.

The Intelligence Headquarters is the central intelligence body in Hezbollah that is responsible for building the intelligence image about Israel and the IDF. The headquarters leads the direction of the organization’s intelligence activities against Israel and centers in its hands strategic gathering capabilities of the terrorist organization Hezbollah. This is another attack on the goals of the intelligence body of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”

*A knife-armed terrorist was shot dead this afternoon at the entrance of the Yehuda Brigade by a female soldier. No IDF soldiers were wounded.

*In Gaza, the IDF Spokesman:

“In recent weeks, the forces of Division 252 have been operating in the central area of Gaza in targeted raids.

In the last three months, the forces of the division have eliminated over 450 Palestinian HamISIS terrorists in airstrikes and face-to-face incidents and destroyed hundreds of terrorist infrastructures in the area.

In the underground, the forces located and destroyed a branching underground route about eight kilometers long in central Gaza.”

UPDATE 1:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in the North

*There is an unconfirmed report of another IDF “incident” on the border. Let’s pray that it was not as disastrous as the incident two days ago in which so many of our soldiers fell and were wounded.

*15 more Hezbollah missile attacks since our last update at 9:30 am:

10:24 Dovev; 10:37 Shtula; 11:08 Tzfat, Dalton, Kadita; 11:18 Tiberias, Misgav Am; 11:30 (more than 40 missiles fired in this barrage alone) Ya’ara. Metzuba, Shlomi; 11:40 Rosh HaNikra, Shlomi, Betzet; 11:51 Netua, Shtula; 12:01 Sassa; 12:17 Avivim, Yir’on; 12:21 Matat, Hurfeish; 12:24 Sassa, Dovev, Sdeh Meron; 12:33 Matat; 12:45 Zivon, Dovev, Sassa; 12:47 Majdal Shams, Nimrod, Neve Ativ; 12:56 Avivim

The IDF Spokesman:

“Overnight, the IAF precisely struck the Bint Jbeil municipality building in which Hezbollah terrorists were operating, alongside large quantities of Hezbollah weapons stored in the building. As part of the strike, approximately 15 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization systematically violates international law, while brutally exploiting government and civilian buildings as well as the population as human shields for terrorist activity, in order to harm IDF soldiers and the civilians of the State of Israel.

The IAF, with the direction of the IDF Northern Command, struck approximately 200 Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanese territory, including terrorist infrastructure sites, terrorists, weapons storage facilities, observation posts, and additional terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the IAF struck and eliminated terrorists who fired missiles yesterday toward the area of the Ramim Ridge alongside terrorists who fired projectiles at IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon.

Furthermore, IDF soldiers identified terrorists that launched projectiles toward additional IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. The IAF swiftly struck and eliminated the terrorists.

This morning, over the past few hours, two Hezbollah terrorists fired at soldiers from the Golani Brigade operating in the area. The IAF swiftly struck the terrorists and no IDF injuries were reported.”

On the Ground in Gaza

From the IDF Spokesman:

The IDF spokesman and the Shin Bet spokeswoman announce that it can now be confirmed that in a joint attack by the IDF and the Shin Bet about three months ago in Gaza, the terrorist Rawhi Mashtaha, who served as the head of the Hamas government in Gaza, was killed, together with the terrorist Sameh Alsarj who held the security file in in the executive committee of Hamas, and the terrorist Sami Odeh, commander of the general security apparatus of Hamas.

UPDATE 9:30 AM ISRAEL TIME

The War in the North

Rosh Hashana 5785 has begun the way that the previous year ended.

Hezbollah continues firing missiles into northern Israel at an almost breakneck pace. Yesterday there were 36 barrages totaling some 275 missiles that exploded all along the border, in the Golan, and in the Upper and Lower Galilee.

It is continuing right now. Thus far this morning we have had missile and drone attacks at Hanita (00:47); Bat Yam (02:53); Odem, Merom Golan (03:26; Metzuba, Shlomi (03:30; Avivim (07:31); Misgav Am (07:48); Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, Misgav Am (09:05); Metulla (09:07); Ma’ayan Baruch, Tel Hai, Kiryat Shmona, Misgav Am, Metulla (09:10); Yir’on, Avivim (09:26).

The bottom line is that despite the IAF making a significant dint in Hezbollah’s missile arsenal, the terror group still has at least half of its estimated 150,000 missiles. It is difficult to see the residents of the north returning to their homes anytime soon.

More on the Horrific Ambush

It turns out that in the ambush in which Hezbollah fighters killed our fighters in the Egoz Unit, an astonishing 33 other fighters were wounded.

Obviously, this “incident” (as the IDF refers to it) brings back memories from the Second Lebanon War when our soldiers were ambushed in Bint Jbeil–and even recent such ambushes in Gaza.

It would seem that the IDF is not learning from these past events, but we can be sure that house after house in southern Lebanon is booby-trapped and ripe for ambuses.

The Houthis Strike Again

Two drones launched from Yemen managed to make it to the coast just off Tel Aviv at 2:30 am this morning where they were intercepted.

This morning, the Houthi Spokesman once again crowed about the fact that their drones made it all the way to Tel Aviv.

Here at OneIsrael, we wonder how the Houthi drones continue evading our radar until they actually arrive here.

An Incredible Story From Gaza

In 2014, an eleven year old Yazidi girl, Fauzia Amin, was kidnapped by Daesh in Iraq. She was then sold to a Palestinian Daesh terrorist and taken to Gaza where she was held as a sex slave for 10 years.

In the past month, she was rescued by the IDF and in recent days was reunited with her family in Sinjar, Iraq:

Now 21 years old after 10 years of slavery in Gaza.
The moment of reunification with her family.

Just an incredible story.

Another Feel-Good Story from Gaza Today

Do you remember this horrific photo from the Ramallah Police Station in October 2000?

The obscene photo.

In it you see Abdel-Aziz Salha, with bloodied hands after he had tortured IDF reservists Vadim Norzhich and Yosef Avrahami who had taken a wrong turn into the city. Afterwards, their bodies were thrown out of the same window to the bloodthirsty crowd below which disemboweled them to death.

Salha was later captured but then inexplicably released in the Gilad Shalit deal.

Yesterday he was killed in an IAF strike in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza.

It took many years but justice was finally, somewhat, served.

In Syria

The IAF was busy in Syria yesterday afternoon and last night striking in Latakia and Tartus. Meanwhile in Damascus, a targeted strike killed Hasan Jafar Kasir, the son-in-law of Hassan Nasrallah.
