UPDATE 9:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

Breathtakingly suddenly, the IDF has become the most lethal army in the world as we eliminate one terrorist after anothersettling long simmering scores with those who have carried out murderous attacks against us over the years.

In the last 48 hours:

Fateh Sherif, Head of the Lebanon Branch of Hamas and senior official of UNRWA.

Eid Hasasan Nashar, the commander of the Hezbollah’s Medium-Range Missile Unit. In addition the deputy commander and other commanders of Hezbollah’s Precision Missile Unit were eliminated.

Nidal Abdel-Aal Head of the Lebanon branch of the PFLP. Abdel-Aal directed the organization’s terror activities in Judea and Samaria. He directed the bus bombing attack in Beitar Illit on March 9, 2023, and the shooting attack from a passing vehicle at the Huwara Junction on March 25, 2023, during which two IDF soldiers were injured.

Imad Odeh, who was the Head of PFLP’s Military Office in Lebanon, was eliminated alongside Abdel-Aal.

Hezbollah missile strikes today–none of which caused any casualties:

02:00 Ramot Naftali; 09:42 Tzfat; 10:04 Yir’on; 11:08 Sha’al, Snir, Ramat Trump; 11:12 Kibbutz Dan, Shear Yeshuv, Katzrin; 11:33 Neveh Ziv, Manot; 11:53 Rosh HaNikra, Shlomi; 12:19 Shlomi; 15:09 Kinar, Duga, Dugit Beach; 15:32 Had Ness, Ma’aleh Gamla; 15:39 Nahariya, Sa’ar; 16:22 Cabri, Nahariya; 17:36 Kfar Giladi, Tel Hai; 19:53 Kiryat Atta, Shfaram, Afek.

All told, around 125 missiles have been fired so far today; the most intense barrages were in the 15:39 and 16:22 launches against Nahariya and environs–35 missiles were fired.

The Addition of Gideon Sa’ar To the Cabinet

You may be asking yourself why the addition of Sa’ar to the Netanyahu Cabinet is such a big political deal here. As OneIsrael previously pointed out, Sa’ar brings 4 members to the Coalition resulting in 68 seats for the Coalition.

More than this, political reporter Tal Shalu summed it up very well today:

“Netanyahu wanted to expand the base of his coalition, please his ultra-Orthodox partners, pass the draft and budget exemption law, and neutralize the power of Itamar Ben Gvir. On the other hand, Sa’ar needs an escape from the blocking percentage that will save his political future and does not believe that there is a realistic chance that the government will fall soon, with or without him. Politics and nothing else.”

Translated: Sa’ar supports the ultra-orthodox in matters of budget and the draft. Netanyahu is sick of Ben Gvir threatening to leave the Coalition and thereby end the government. Sa’ar was going nowhere politically; his Party is currently polling at about 2% and would get no seats in the Knesset if the election were held tomorrow.

UPDATE 8:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

Missile Attacks

Incoming missile alarms for Hezbollah missiles since 7 pm last night: 21:14 Haifa and surrounding area (one surface to surface ballistic missile that was intercepted); 02:00 Ramot Naftali.

No Israelis were wounded in either attack.

IAF Activity Yesterday Evening and Overnight

*A targeted IAF attack in Beirut killed 3 terrorists of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Beirut.

*A targeted IAF attack in the al-Kula neighborhood of Beirut killed Muhammad Takush, head of the Al-Jama’a al-Islamiya terror organization in Lebanon.

*A targeted attack in Tyre killed senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan.

*At least 11 Hezbollah terrorists were killed and massive fire and destruction were caused by an Israeli air strikes in al-Haramel in eastern Lebanon, near the border with Syria.

*From the IDF Spokesman late last night:

The locations of the 120 IAF attacks yesterday (source: IDF).

“The IDF recently carried out a large-scale joint IAF-Northern Command operation striking  approximately 120 Hezbollah military targets across southern and deeper areas of Lebanon. These included key headquarters, military structures, and infrastructure used by Hezbollah to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israel.

The operation involved multiple fighter jets, directed by the Intelligence Directorate, Northern Command, and the Air Force delivering a significant blow to Hezbollah’s operational capabilities, command and control functions, and emergency preparedness.”

On the Ground in Gaza

While the focus of battle has shifted to Lebanon, our brave troops continue attacking Hamas. Yesterday, a significant 1 km long tunnel in central Gaza was destroyed:

At the moment of the tunnel exploding.

The IDF Spokesman:

“With the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists who were operating inside a command and control center in northern Gaza. The command and control center, which was embedded inside a compound that previously served as the ‘Abu Ja’far Al Mansour’ School, was used by the terrorists to plan and execute terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.”

In Syria

Arab media reports yesterday were that contact with Maher Assad, the brother of Syrian President Bashar, has been lost; he was in a building that was attacked by Israel earlier yesterday in the Yaafur area near Damascus. Maher Assad was the commander of 4th armored Division in the Syrian army which is in effect an Iranian proxy.

The Iranian problem in Syria is considerable. There are 529 Iranian military installations in Syria.

On the Political Scene in Israel

As we reported last night, Gideon Sa’ar has brought his political party with 4 seats in the Knesset into the Netanyahu Coalition meaning that the Coalition now has 68 members. He will be a “Minister without Portfolio” and be included in Political-Security Cabinet.

If you listen closely, you can hear the cries of “betrayal” shouted at Sa’ar coming from the Israeli “Left.”

An Interesting Story, If True

The Saudi news media Al Hadath reported yesterday: “A person met with Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, shook his hand, and then smeared his hand with a substance that allowed Israel to track him.”

This is just one of many such stories circulating in the media so we should take it with a grain of salt.
