As you know by now, dozens of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans as well as Dutch Jews were ambushed, attacked and chased through the city following the team’s game with Ajax.
One Israeli, Tomer Talias, described what happened upon her arrival back in Israel this morning on an El Al evacuation flight (one flight of six):
“It turns out that the Muslims organized a lot of groups of people. 30-40 people in each group, at least two thousand Muslims who walked the streets and were just looking for the Jews, looking to kill us.
They hurt every fan they met on the street, whether it was a girl, a boy, an adult, the elderly. They hurt people mentally and physically. My hotel was surrounded by Muslims who were just trying to enter the hotel, any hotel of Israelis. Every taxi driver tried to support the Muslims and help them reach the Israelis. They came with clubs and belts and every possible way to beat us and run over us . . .”
How can anyone be surprised by the events in Amsterdam?
Europe has been overrun by Muslims from all over the Muslim world. Walk down a street in Hamburg; take a boat ride in Malmo; go through Heathrow airport; stroll along the Champs d’Elysee; take a hop on hop off through Madrid; visit any Italian city.
Do any of these activities and you will be met by an extraordinary number of Muslims–and not moderate ones. Women covered from head to toe except for an eye slit, Koran waving imams on street corners, and on and on. Muslims everywhere refusing to integrate into the culture to which they have come and insisting on transforming wherever they go into enclaves of where they came from.
And in every case, perpetuating hatred of Jews.
UPDATE 7:00 PM ISRAEL TIME
As of this hour, a number of El Al flights have evacuated Israelis from Amsterdam, and medical teams have flown there. Incoming FM Gideon Saar is also there along with other Israeli leaders.

A direct hit on a town near Akko (Yasif) in the 15:40 barrage: as of 5:00 pm, more than 70 missiles and drones have been fired at Israel.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
