UPDATE 6:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

L-R: Staff Sgt. Itay Parizat, 20, from Petah Tikva, and Staff Sgt. Yair Hananya, 22, from Mitzpe Netofa. Both served in the Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion.

They were killed yesterday when they entered a booby-trapped building in Jabaliya (northern Gaza)–which had not been bombed from the air or exploded from the ground by engineering forces as the IDF now requires. The building was only 200 meters from the building where 4 other soldiers were killed in another booby-trapped building this past week.

*Another soldier whose name has not been released was killed yesterday in in northern Gaza by a grenade explosion.

371 IDF soldiers have now fallen in Gaza and in southern Lebanon since October 27th of last year when the Gaza operation began.

*In addition, a 57-year-old man (whose name remains undisclosed) from Nahariya who was wounded in the head by shrapnel from a Hezbollah missile on October 23 died yesterday after a series of surgeries at the Galilee Medical Center.

902 civilians have now been murdered since October 7th of last year.

May The Memories of Our Soldiers and Civilian Be For A Blessing

On the Ground in Gaza

The intense fighting in Jabaliya continues. The IDF reported yesterday that more than 900 terrorists have been killed there since the Jabaliya ground operation began last week. Another 700 have surrendered.

The IDF Spokesman:

“Over the past week, with the direction of IDF Intelligence, the IAF struck and eliminated the terrorist Raafat Ibrahim Mahmoud Akdeih, a Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the brutal October 7th terrorist attack. During the war, Akdieh served as an aide to the commander of Islamic Jihad Nukhba forces in the Khan Yunis Brigade.”

On the Ground in the North

*The IDF reported yesterday another 2000 Hezbollah terrorists have been killed during the recent maneuver in southern Lebanon. In addition, 500 more terrorists were killed before the maneuver began.

*Hezbollah has launched more than 100 missiles at northern Israel and the Galilee region yesterday. Today’s attacks:

17:41 Kiryat Tivon; 17:38 Avivim; 17:30 Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Biyalik. Haifa; 17:26 Bostan HaGalil; 17:21 Nahariya. Asher; 16:55 Haifa; 15:54 Metulla; 15:43 Metulla; 14:39 Ahula; 14:27 The lower Galilee, Massad, Kedmat; 14:22 Bashan, Gonen; 12:07 Akko, Jedidah Makar; 11:43 Manara; 11:11 Nahariya; 09:01 Bakata, Rosh HaNikra; 08:58 Atlit, Shlomi, Ptolemy Elazar; 08:05 Sha’ar Naaman; 07:29 Zerait; 07:26 Doviv; 06:20 Ramat Magashim.

In the 11:11 barrage, more than 25 missiles were launched at northern Israel. In the 14:27 barrage, more than 30 missiles were launched by Hezbollah into Israel.

The IDF Spokesman today:

“The IAF struck and eliminated the terrorist Farouk Amin Alasi, the Hezbollah commander of the Khiam area.

Alasi was responsible for the execution of many anti-tank missile and rocket attacks toward Israeli communities in the Galilee Panhandle, and especially Metula.

Additionally, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Yousef Ahmad Nun, a Radwan Forces company commander in the Khiam area who was responsible for rocket and anti-tank missile attacks toward Israeli communities in the Galilee area and IDF troops operating in the area.”

In another IDF announcement:

“An IAF fighter jet conducted a targeted strike in the area of Jouaiyya in southern Lebanon and eliminated the commander of Hezbollah’s Nasser Unit missiles and rockets array, the terrorist Jaafar Khader Faour, as well as the commander of the drones array in the unit.

Faour was responsible for terror attacks carried out from eastern Lebanon, from which the first rocket launches toward Israeli territory were fired on October 8th, under his command. Faour planned many terror attacks against the Israeli Homefront and IDF soldiers.”

On the Iranian Front

There is every reason to believe that an Iranian retaliatory strike is imminent. Satellite photos show missile batteries in Iran being readied for launches, a squadron of U.S. B1 bombers has arrived in the Middle East, and the Bidenites have warned Iran that this time Israel cannot be restrained should it be attacked.

Perhaps an even more telling fact:

Last Thursday, the Commander of CENTCOM, Gen. Michael “Erik” Kurilla, arrived in Israel as the official guest of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi.

In the past, Kurilla’s visits have coincided with Iranian attacks.
