The IAF has attacked the Dahaiah neighborhood of Beirut–the home of Hezbollah.
Reports are unclear.
Apparently Ibrahim Akil, Hezbollah’s de facto Chief of Staff was killed along with 8 others including the Deputy Commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Mohammed Reza.
During the afternoon, more than 150 Hezbollah missiles and exploding drones have pulverized northern Israel.

Maj. (res) Nael Fwarsy, 43 years old from Magar, was commander of the headquarters company in the Kharb 299 Battalion. He was killed by an exploding drone in Ya’ara.
Sgt. Tomer Keren, 20 years old from Haifa, a fighter in the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade. He was killed by anti-tank missile fired into Margaliot.
The deaths of Maj. Fwarsy and Sgt. Keren brings to 715 the total number of IDF soldiers killed from October 7th until today.

An secret internal Hezbollah document was leaked to the media this morning that shows astonishing numbers based on as yet incomplete data:
879 Hezbollah members were killed: this number includes 291 senior officials, 131 Iranians, and 79 Yemenis.
509 Hezbollah members were blinded–491 completely.
602 Hezbollah members (not including the above or below) were critically injured.
2187 Hezbollah members had multiple limb damage (arms and legs)–of these 1306 had an upper limb amputated; 101 had a lower limb amputated; 344 had at least 1 finger amputated.
1693 Hezbollah members had internal organ injuries.
613 Hezbollah members have permanent disfigurement with loss of organ function.
1735 Hezbollah members were injured in their reproductive organs–905 irreversibly.
39 non-Hezbollah members were killed.

This statement follows his comments two days ago when he said “The mission is clear. We are determined to change the security situation for residents of the north as as soon as possible.”
As if to underscore Gordin’s comments, the IAF carried out massive strikes on southern Lebanon yesterday afternoon and overnight destroying nearly 100 Hezbollah launchers and missiles that were ready for immediate launch and 1000 launch cannisters.

**IAF strikes and beeper and radio attacks notwithstanding, Hezbollah still fired 13 barrages of missiles and drones into northern Israel.

Other Israeli locations hit included Zarit, Matat, Shlomi, Hanita, Margaliot (where Sgt. Keren was killed), Arab al-Aramshe, Idmit, Majdal Shams, Malkia, Nahariya, Ya’ara (where Maj. Fwarsy was killed), and Lehman.

The IDF announced yesterday that in the same operation in which the four soldiers were killed several days ago, IDF forces in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah eliminated more than 300 terrorists and wiped out a long-range rocket depot.
