The News on the Israel Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists hurled Molotovs and “rocks” at A-Tur, the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road, Kiryat Arba, on Route 55 between Kfar Sava-Karnei Shomron, Havat Yehuda, and Azzun among a myriad of other places.
Meanwhile, the IDF chased a suspicious vehicle near Shavei Shomron yesterday. In the course of the chase, the Palestinian driver jumped out of the car and somehow escaped. A large quantity of weapons was found inside.
Meanwhile (again), another Palestinian stabbing attack was thwarted near Shavei Shomron when Border Police captured a terrorist armed with a knife.
Meanwhile (again), there was the normal case of the incoming missile alarms yesterday at Yad Mordechai and Netiv Asara. Of course, as happens now with virtually every missile alarm, the IDF spokesman was quick to appear and tell everyone not to worry because it was a false alarm. Local security personnel are still looking for the missiles this morning.
Another night, another Jewish community destroyed . . .
Just after 1 am this morning, in what has become an almost nightly occurrence out in Judea and Samaria, elements of the Civil Administration along with Police and IDF soldiers showed up at a fledgling Jewish community to destroy it.
This time the target was Givat Komi Uri in southern Yitzhar.
But things didn’t go as expected. It turns out that the Civil Administration had unbelievably hired (as summer employment) a group of high school students to move “furniture.” No one told them that they had to move the families out of the community.
They refused to do so.
In the end, only two houses were destroyed, and their residents promised to rebuild them immediately.
That our government continues to try to destroy Jewish communities is a travesty.
Who stopped the moving of the American Embassy? . . .
An extremely interesting piece of information surfaced yesterday from recently departed Trump Adviser Steve Bannon.
In today’s generation, men’s have various problems related to sex but one of the main problems is not discount levitra supposed to fulfill the demands of different types of clients. It is such a medicine that it increases bought this on line cialis the blood flow to the penile areas and enables men to stay longer in bed. Cryosurgery Cryosurgery, or the technique of using extreme cold to treat tumors in viagra sale cancer, can have permanent negative effects. It sends a component as well to improve libido in men, thereby helping men to achieve better erections. tadalafil soft
According to Bannon, the reason the Embassy has not been moved to Jerusalem is Jared Kushner. Bannon’s version of events is that he (Bannon) fought to have President Trump fulfill his campaign promise, only to be outmaneuvered by Kushner who thinks he can use the threat of moving the Embassy to Jerusalem as leverage against the Palestinians.
If Bannon’s version of events is accurate, it once again demonstrates naivete of the worst sort emanating from the Trump Administration about the Palestinians–and arrogance of the worst sort to believe that the Trump Administration is going to somehow be able to get the Palestinians to accept a Jewish state of Israel.
One additional item: Bannon says that he refused to meet with PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in the White House because he didn’t want to breathe the same air as a terrorist. Your humble servant is no particular friend of Steve Bannon, but just maybe it is time for some to reevaluate what they have said about Bannon, anti-Semitism, and Israel.
After all, we have heard no denials of his version of events from anyone.
The increasingly dangerous situation in Syria . . .
Earlier this week, your humble servant wrote how Iran has completely taken over Syria–among other places. Just how dramatic that takeover is has been demonstrated in recent days by Iranian proxy Hezbollah’s refusal to adhere to the latest Russian ceasefire.
According to the terms of the July 9th ceasefire for Dar’a and southern Syria, Russia ordered Iranian and Hezbollah forces to leave Dar’a and move eastward or northward until they were at least 50 km from the Jordanian and Israeli borders. We now discover that they moved about a kilometer in each direction but refused to evacuate.
Insofar as Israel is concerned, we have already declared that we will not agree to foreign Shi’ite soldiers near our northern or eastern border.
The entire situation is becoming increasingly dangerous.
The Israeli economy keeps rolling along . . .
We had this tweet from Benjamin Netanyahu this morning:
Benjamin Netanyahu
ישראל מתברכת ברמת האבטלה הנמוכה ביותר מזה כ-40 שנה, זהו אחד המדדים הנמוכים בעולם. זוהי הוכחה שהמדיניות הכלכלית שלנו עובדת.
“Israel is blessed with its lowest unemployment level in about 40 years, one of the lowest indicators in the world. This is proof that our economic policy is working.”
The unemployment rate is 4.0, the lowest here in Israel since 1980.
If you need proof that the Israel economy is thriving, go to any shopping mall or restaurant anywhere in the country tonight at 9 pm, and tell your humble servant what you see.
Every shopping mall and restaurant is packed with people.

A Mourning Jewish Mother Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands
You will recall, dear reader, that a few days ago we reported on the Palestinian shwarma worker who lured a young orthodox Jewish woman to Eilat. On the way down to the Red Sea, his car flipped over and she was killed. At her funeral the next day, her mother sobbingly wailed for Jewish parents not to let their daughters go out with Palestinian men.
Yesterday, the girl’s mother showed up at the Shwarma 15, the shawarma kiosk just outside the central bus station in Jerusalem where the Palestinian man illegally worked.
And began screaming.
Screaming at the owner for employing illegal Palestinian workers. Soon, she was joined by a multitude of other people. After some time, the owner relented and said that he had fired the man and would not hire any other illegal Palestinian workers.
Why it took a mourning mother to go to the shwarma stand to get something done is beyond your humble servant, but kudos to her for doing so.
