The News on the Israel Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Numerous raids were carried out overnight by Israel Police, the Border Police, Shin Bet, and the IDF. 17 wanted terrorists were captured throughout Judea and Samaria.

The raids took place in Shechem, Ephraim, Benidin, Atayoun, Azariyeh, Beit Ummar, Dura, Al Fawwar, Beit Awa, and Deir Zamat. Virtually all of those arrested are members of Hamas.

The raids would seem to indicate that PLO security personnel are again cooperating with Israeli security personnel because the PLO is also interested in suppressing Hamas as much as possible. Just this morning, the PLO in Ramallah threatened again to cut off all funds to Hamas in Gaza.

Speaking of Gaza and threats . . .

Wrap your mind around, dear reader.

The Salafi terrorist group in Gaza threatened this morning to resume firing missiles at southern Israel because Hamas took over one of its “training facilities” (aka “missile launching sites”).

So the Salafists will punish Hamas by firing missiles at Israelis in southern Israel.

Who can explain the contortions of the Palestinian mind?

What in the world is the U.S. doing in Syria? . . .

Less than a month after withdrawing all support from the Saudi-backed Syrian rebels, the Trump Administration is now putting all of its money on the Kurds.

Apparently in a belated attempt to stop the spread of an Iranian land bridge through Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, the U.S. is pouring weapons into Kurdish forces in hopes that the Kurds can establish a presence in the Abulhamal region–which is south of their current stronghold in Syria.

Obviously, the Iranians are doing everything they can to stop Kurdish movement south.

In your humble servant’s opinion, the Trump Administration’s move can best be characterized as “too little too late.”

TODAY’S BLOG:

The Faces of Palestinian Terrorists to Come

Your humble servant was struck by two items yesterday.

To begin with, a video made by Palestinians on the Temple Mount recorded Palestinian children, encouraged by their mothers, using toy guns to shoot Israeli Border Policemen as they passed. Here are two screen shots from that video:

And the second:

Obviously, the young children were emulating the Palestinian terrorists who killed two Israeli-Druze policemen on the Mount back in July.

Also over the weekend, we had the nauseating episode of Israel agreeing to let the abominable United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (aka UNRWA) bring 91 fourteen-year-olds from Gaza to worship at the Temple Mount.

Specifically at the Kipat HaSela (Dome of the Rock) and at the Al Aksa Mosque.

Imagine this "happy" group with weapons. Apparently, our idiotic government cannot.

How long do you think it will be before these children–the children of Hamas members in Gaza–will be engaging in terrorism against Israel?

How long will it be until the young girl below carries out a stabbing attack at an Israeli checkpoint:

Just like one of the terrorists who murdered the Druze policemen, this girl will go home, put this picture on Facebook, and dream of the day she will become a shahid (photo AFP).

And how about this face of a young fanatic in the group–praying right at the Foundation Stone under the Kipat HaSela (Judaism’s holiest place):

The face of terrorism to come (photo: AFP).

It is not surprising that UNRWA hatched this scheme to bring future terrorists to Jerusalem, and it is not surprising that our hideous ultra-left wing IDF COGAT unit (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories) acceded to the absurd request.

After all, UNRWA and COGAT work hand in hand to nurture Palestinian terrorists.
