IDF soldiers on the ground in Gaza and in the north have indicated that they urgently need more basic supplies and armaments.

Today, we here at OneIsrael are beginning another campaign for our soldiers. This campaign will extend through Passover and to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.

UPDATE 9:00 AM

On the Iranian Front

On Thursday we were told here in Israel by the American CIA that an Iranian attack would take place within 48 hours. Iranian “Supreme Leader” Khamenei seemingly bolstered this timeline when he said on Thursday that Friday would be the day–because it was the last Friday of Ramadan, the day the Koran was given to Mohammed, and Jerusalem Day in Iran. In response to the apparently impending attack, nervous Israelis rushed to supermarkets, hardware stores, and banks to shore up supplies.

Friday has come and gone.

The new intel is that we can now expect an attack before the end of Ramadan–which will take place this coming Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on the sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia). The day after Ramadan ends, Eid Al-Fitr begins.

More new intel specifies from the U.S. is that the Iranian attack “will include a swarm of Shahad-type roving drones and cruise missiles.” Americans believe that the target will be an Israeli diplomatic facility somewhere in the Middle East.

What is becoming increasingly clear is that American intel cannot be relied on.

Neither can American assistance. Multiple news sites now report that the U.S. has been in contact with the Iranians, and that a deal has been worked out. Iran has agreed not to attack American targets if the U.S. does not interfere with its strike against Israel.

On the Hostage Front

You will remember the dramatic 45 minute “chewing out” that President Biden gave PM Netanyahu over the telephone the other day.

One of the items on Biden’s agenda was to blame Israel for lack of progress in the hostage release negotiations. Biden indicated that the problem is that the government has not given a wide enough mandate to our negotiators, and if only we had, a deal would have been struck long ago.

What hogwash. Following the telephone conversation, Israel sent our negotiators back to Cairo on Thursday with Biden’s “wider mandate”. It took less than 24 hours for HamISIS to declare yesterday that it has rejected the latest proposal.

The problem is not Israel.

HamISIS has no reason to negotiate–especially now that we have Biden increasing pressure on Israel. Sinwar can sit in his luxurious tunnel lounge surrounded by what living hostages are left, and watch as Biden demands more humanitarian aid for Gaza, less Israeli military activity in Rafah, and a so-called “temporary” ceasefire.

The problem is not Israel. The problem is Biden.

 Speaking of American Pressure

In the wake of American pressure following the tragic deaths of the aid workers from World Kitchen, IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi took the extraordinary step yesterday of dismissing the Nahal Brigade’s Chief of Staff, highly decorated Col. Nochi Mendel, and the Brigade’s Fire Support Commander (unnamed in the dismissal but known in Brigade as “Sapir”).

Yesterday, signs began popping up in Gaza among our brave Nahal forces denouncing the dismissals and supporting those dismissed:

The message:

The message: (top line): Shame on IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi. (bottom two lines): Nochi and Sapir, the soldiers of the Nahal are with you.

The irony of the reaction and Biden’s demands are that several accidents involving American forces inadvertently killing civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq under Biden’s watched were not apologized for nor were American commanders disciplined.

Terror in the Last 24 Hours

*A terrorist at the Megiddo Junction tried to kill security guards with a hammer. He was shot and wounded.

*2 Palestinian terrorists who were planting IEDs along the side of Road 55 near Karni Shomron were neutralized by the IDF.

*Terrorists opened fire at an IDF force at the Sheikh Hussein crossing (Jordan River) in the north of the Bekaa. No Israelis were wounded. The fire apparently came from the Jordanian side.

On the Ground in the North

There have been 5 attacks from Lebanon in the last 24 hours, the most recent at 2:14 am this morning at Avivim, Baram, and Yir’on. Of these 5, two of them were drone attacks, and 3 were missile assaults. One barrage of six missiles struck the Kiryat Shmona area.

From the IDF Spokesman this morning:

“Air Force fighter jets attacked a military structure of the Shiite “Amal” movement in Lebanon, which has been fighting against Israel since October 7, in the Marj Ayon area near the border with Israel. In addition, earlier today fighters of the Golani Brigade identified a terrorist carrying out a surveillance operation using a drone in order to direct launches to the northern part of the country – and directed an aircraft of the IAF  that attacked the terrorist. Fighter jets also attacked terrorist infrastructures of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Kfar Kila area, and military buildings of the organization in the Mis al Jabal area in southern Lebanon.”

In the above attacks, 5 terrorists were killed: 2 from Hezbollah, 3 from Amal.

We here at OneIsrael wish our soldiers and you dear readers:

Shabbat Shalom!
