UPDATE 5:00 PM

On the Iranian Front

Clear and decisive?

The political and security cabinets apparently have decided that the Iranian assault cannot go unanswered and that answer must be clear and decisive.

Well, sort of.

The two rules of engagement are:

1. The response must not be so dramatic as to bring about a regional war. In other words, a mild response.

2. The response must be of a kind that the Biden Administration will accept. The response doesn’t need to be coordinated with Washington but one that “complies with their rules.”

As we have repeatedly written here, Israel has become a vassal state of the U.S.

On the Gaza Front

*Another missile attack from Gaza on a Gaza Border community occurred at 4:40 pm this afternoon when Nir Am was targeted.

*Yet another hostage proposal made by Israel has been rejected by HamISIS. This proposal called for a release of only 20 hostages in return for a 6 week ceasefire.

Whatever happened to getting a list of all living hostages? Whatever happened to demanding the release of 40 hostages?

Whatever happened, whatever happened, whatever happened.

However, Israel can “feel good” in that we were praised by the Biden Administration for “making progress” in the negotiations.

For the Bidenites, “making progress” means “Israel offering ever more concessions.”

*In extremely disturbing testimony in the Knesset, one of the survivors of the Peace Party on October 7th said that nearly 50 of those survivors have committed suicide since then.

Immediately a Ministry of Health representative disputed this number claiming that “no more than 10” have committed suicide.

50? No more than 10? No matter which is accurate, the number is horrific.

On the Northern Front

*4 Golani solders were wounded–1 critically when an roadside IED exploded beside their vehicle during a mission on the Lebanese side of the border.

*Hezbollah hit Kiryat Shmona again this afternoon, and even claims that it destroyed an Iron Dome battery (yet to be confirmed). 3 Israelis were wounded.

*Hezbollah missiles also struck Hanita (3:26 pm), and Hagoshim/Beit Hillel (4:42).

*The IAF carried out a targeted attack on the vehicle of Abu Jaafar near Tyre. Jaafar was a senior Hezbollah field commander.

On the Judea and Samaria Front

This photo was made early yesterday morning. If you look closely, you can see IDF and Civil Administration vehicles approaching the site.

*In what can only be described as governmental insanity, 14-year-old Jewish shepherd Binyamin Meir had barely been buried when the Civil Administration and IDF showed up at the tiny farm where he lived and where he was murdered, and destroyed the site.

*Yesterday, fewer than 3 days after Binyamin’s murder, another Jewish shepherd was attacked in the Gitti Area of the Bakaa. This time the shepherd was not alone, and a pitched battle ensued during which 2 Palestinians were killed.

Our OneIsrael Campaign For Our Soldiers

IDF soldiers on the ground need basic armaments and supplies. Even during the Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.

Here at OneIsrael we are engaged in another campaign for our soldiers. This campaign will extend through Passover and to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.
