The News On the Israel Street
Closures remain in force . . .
The closure of Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Crossings continues today and will remain in force until tomorrow (Saturday) night. Only Palestinians with humanitarian and medical situations will be permitted through.
Terror continues to take place . . .
Some of the worst Palestinian terror of the last 24 hours centered around Hevron where thousands of Palestinians clashed with Israeli security personnel. According to Palestinian reports, one Palestinian was killed.
What do you think is the purpose of this headline? . . .
Yesterday, Ma’an news, an official Palestinian website, ran this fake headline:
“Hundreds of Israelis Enter Al Aqsa On the Eve of Rosh Hashana”
Why is it fake?
No Israeli citizen has been in the Al-Aqsa Mosque for at least a decade, and none entered for Rosh Hashana. Yes, hundreds of Israelis went to the Temple Mount, but none went inside the Al Aqsa Mosque or even came close to it.
Nevertheless, we will see the European Union, United Nations, and many international media outlets pick up this headline, and probably by tomorrow we will see stabbings and other Palestinian attacks, as Palestinian young people ludicrously rush to defend Al Aqsa.
And this was the purpose of the headline: to incite Palestinians to kill Israelis.
The U.N. Human Rights Council sinks to new lows . . .
Is it possible for the UNHRC to sink to a new low? Isn’t it already the infected mucous that is infesting the toxic scum that lives on the bottom of the grossly polluted pond which is the United Nations?
If you can believe this, on Wednesday, the UNHRC named Israel as a country that punishes self-proclaimed “human rights” advocates who speak up against it in the UNHRC.
According to the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights, Andrew Gilmour, Israel is a country in which people have been abducted, detained, held incommunicado, or have disappeared.
Can someone please tell your your humble servant who in the world has been abducted, detained, held in isolation, or disappeared here? Of course, no one has because Israel is a democracy. If anyone had been, the leftist press would have pounced all over the story in a millisecond.
But Israel allegedly continues committing war crime after war crime . . .
Four self-proclaimed “human rights” NGOs that operate in Israel submitted a document to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Wednesday. The four–the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights, the Aldameer Association for Human Rights, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, and Al-Haq–accuse Israel of “persecuting the occupied Palestinian population” and subjecting them to the crimes of “persecution and apartheid.”
In particular, the four organizations accuse Jewish organizations of purchasing land from Arabs in eastern Jerusalem aimed at altering the demographic of the Palestinian territory.
So now, if a Jew buys land from a Palestinian or any Arab, it is “war crime.”
TODAY’S BLOG:
“Thank you Israel! You Israelis got here first!”
Do you want to know one reason why your humble servant is proud to be an Israeli?
What is the only country in the world that currently has aid teams on the ground in Florida, Texas, the Caribbean and Mexico helping rescue and treat victims of the natural disasters there?
Israel.
Israel that is always reviled, always protested against, always accused of this canard and that fraud. Little Israel, a country of limited resources but with an unlimited heart.
Israel is always first on the scene to offer a helping hand. Israel is always first on the scene to set up portable hospitals. Israel is always first on the scene doing good.
What are the some of the Israeli organizations involved? IsraAID, ZAKA Search and Rescue, and the Israel Rescue Coalition, and United Hatzalah are all hard at work in Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, and in Florida after Irma.
A ZAKA team is briefed in near Houston:
Zaka volunteers in Florida after Irma:
In Mexico, an IDF contingent arrived within 48 hours of the earthquake.
By yesterday, they were already out in the streets, burrowing into the rubble, trying to save anyone who was still alive.

Out in the Caribbean, who was there first?
Israelis, this time from the Israeli group “Rescuers Without Borders” (SSF).
Fernand Cohen-Tannoudji, the head of the delegation from the Israeli organization Rescuers Without Borders to the island of Saint Martin said : “Every patient or resident that sees us says ‘Thank you Israel! You Israelis got here first!'”
Cohen-Tannoudji added: “It’s a great honor to be told that.”
You want to know why I’m proud to be an Israeli? Because I am proud of Israel whose high moral values are truly a light to the nations of this world!
