What a sick joke. How many times has the pathetic anti-Semite Abu Mazen claimed in Arabic that Jews caused the Holocaust, claimed in Arabic that the number of Jews murdered in the Holocaust was great exaggerated, and then apologized in English for what he said.

Numerous riots are currently taking place all along the Gaza Border fence, and numerous fires are currently burning as a result of the Molotov kites.
Hizma, Turmus’Aya, Hevron, Qalandiya, Hawara, Tekoa, Kiryat Arba, Road 443, Karmei Tzur, and throughout Gush Etzion: these are 10 of some 30 locations at which Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs.
Is this the Trump peace plan? . . .
It is being reported that part of the upcoming Trump peace plan is that the eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods of Shu’afat, Jabal Mukaber, Issawiya, and Abu Dis would be peeled away from the Jerusalem municipality and turned over to the Palestinians to create a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem. Apparently, another part of the plan is that the Old City of Jerusalem would come under the authority of an international consortium.
What is your humble servant’s reaction to this?
As regular readers of israelstreet know, I already think that the Palestinians have two states: one in Gaza, and the other in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria. I can think of no reason why Israel would ever again want to have sovereignty over these areas. If the Palestinians want to move their capitals from Gaza City and Ramallah to Abu Dis, so what?
However, whether the residents of these neighborhoods would willingly give up their Israeli resident cards is highly debatable.
As for the Old City being internationalized, that is a non-starter.

There is no way that your humble servant and his fellow Israelis will agree to the Temple Mount, Western Wall, and Jewish Quarter being under the control of an international entity.
Speaking of the Temple Mount . . .
The Israel police, which always collude with the Islamic Wakf to restrict Jews on the Temple Mount, detained 7 Jewish girls between the ages of 10 and 14 yesterday for attempting to pray at the gates leading to the Mount.
Did you get that?
The girls were not even on the Mount; they were outside–yet they were still grabbed by the police for praying “toward the Mount.”
Just incredible.
Almost as incredible as what happens on the Mount itself. Here’s a picture from several days ago of a single Jewish man being arrested on the Mount because he unfurled an Israeli flag.

Speaking of absurdity . . .
One week ago, Adalah, “The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel”, issued this statement in support of Amnesty International:
“The time for declarations of symbolic condemnation has passed. Israel is carrying out a murderous attack against Palestinians protesting in Gaza, with its armed forces killing and maiming protesters who pose no immediate threat . . . An international arms embargo against Israel is called for. “
It turns out that Adalah has been primarily funded by the New Israel Fund over the last decade. It is just one of many organizations funded by the Fund which calls for boycotts against Israel–despite the fact that the Fund claims it opposes boycotts against Israel and will not give money to any organization that does.
So how did the New Israel Fund respond to the Adalah declaration: “Regarding the post, this was a human error and the post was removed from Adalah’s Facebook page.”
A human error? Removing the post changes Adalah’s position?
Remember Tzipi Livni? . . .
Our globetrotting jet-setter wannabe is still a member of the Knesset and still trying to make waves.
This morning she demanded an “urgent strategic discussion” with PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Lieberman on the subject of Iran and the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement put together by her good friends Barack Obama and John Kerry.
She issued this statement: “This explosive atmosphere has significance for every step, and the Knesset’s oversight duty is critical in order to ascertain whether there is a clear strategy.”
Hilariously, it was revealed shortly after this statement and demand that Livni is almost always absent from Knesset security committee meetings in which she is a member (she’s too busy globetrotting).
In fact, she has been rarely present at meetings of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Of the last 177 meetings, Livini attended 35. Even worse, she has never attended meetings of the Deputy Foreign Policy and Public Information subcommittee.
And she is demanding a meeting?
Because of the need for Knesset oversight?
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
