The News On The Israeli Street
Palestinian terror on the Gaza border . . .
Another record-setting day with 31 fires started in southern Israel by explosive balloons launched by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza:
Fighting another fire near Sha’ar Hanegev:
On top of all this, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza posted a video yesterday in which they claim that they are now loading the balloons not only with explosives but also with chemical “toxic” materials:
Once again, there was no Israeli response to any of the fires. PM Netanyahu did not utter a single syllable, the government did not retaliate, and the IDF remained invisible.
However, Israel fell back on its old strategy last night of begging the Egyptians to intervene. And so they did, brokering yet another “ceasefire” which calls for Israel to increase the fishing/smuggling range to 15 km today and to permit fuel to power the Gaza power plant back in through the Kerem Shalom crossing today, in return for Hamas stopping all explosive balloons and attacks on the border fence.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Who is kidding whom? How many of these idiotic truces have we been through in the last 5 years? And how long do you think it will take, dear reader, until an explosive balloon is launched today into southern Israel?
Palestinian terror in Jerusalem . . .
*A Palestinian wielding an axe suddenly appeared in the Zichron Moshe Synagogue on Hafes Haim Street near the Mechane Yehuda Market yesterday evening.
Fortunately, worshipers were able to push the man out of door and into the street before anyone was killed or wounded; once in the street, the terrorist went on a rampage smashing car windshields and windows.
Eventually police arrived and captured the terrorist.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Three More “No’s” From the Palestinians
“The international community has recognized no portion of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.”
Ahmed Majdalani, Deputy PLO Social Affairs Minister, speaking at a United Nations Forum on Jerusalem held yesterday in Geneva.
“There is no scientific evidence linking Jews to Jerusalem. Artifacts found linking Jews to city and to the Haram al Sharif (the Temple Mount) are fake.”
Nazmi Al Jubeh, Associate Professor of History and Archaelogy at Birzeit University, speaking at the same forum.
“Israel’s deduction of payments made by the PA to families of security prisoners and martyrs from tax revenues collected on behalf of the Palestinians is unjust.”
PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas speaking in Ramallah yesterday.
Don’t these statements really say it all?
No part of Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. No connection of Jerusalem to the Jews exists. No way will the PLO stop paying terrorists to kill Israelis.
And these are the people we are supposed to make peace with.
All of this calls to mind the famous three No’s that came out of the Khartoum Resolution issued after the Arab League summit there in 1967:
“No peace with Israel. No recognition of Israel. No negotiations with Israel.”
The more things change the more they stay the same.
