The News On the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror . . .
On the Gaza border:
The lack of any response–not even an absurd one-–to yesterday’s missile fire on southern Israel continues to resonate. But late yesterday, we found out why there was no answer to the attack.
It turns out that our so-called “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz and the IDF Chief of Staff Kochavi simply decided that there would be no response.
When you think about it, why should there be? After all, it was only southern Israel being attacked; there were only 50,000 southern Israelis who had to rush to their bomb shelters. And as we all know by now, southern Israelis are nothing but missile fodder.
By the way, it wasn’t so long ago that Gantz declared on the campaign trail that never again would missiles be fired at southern Israel without a dramatic Israeli response.
What a sad joke.
In Judea and Samaria:
Palestinian terrorists attacked with “rocks” and Molotovs at more than 20 locations yesterday including Road 443, Al-Aruv, the Gush Etzion-Hevron road, Luban a-Sharqiya near Ramallah, and at Karmei Tzur.
The daily Corona (Covid-19) update . . .
There are 302,770 confirmed cases—an increase of 874
265,445 of these confirmed cases have recovered—an increase of 2,942
690 are in critical condition—a decrease of 24
239 of the most critically ill are on ventilators—a decrease of 5
2,190 have died–an increase of 49
There are now 37,325 active Corona cases in Israel (that we know about; undoubtedly there are many people who have Corona who have not been tested).
The faux “good news” is that the number of confirmed cases is down to under 1000; again this is being brought about by a lack of testing.

But also more than 500,000 children between the ages of 2 and 6 are returning to preschools and kindergartens, and at least 100,000 Torah students are returning to their yeshivas. The impact of these openings will be seen in the number of newly confirmed cases in the coming week.
TODAY’S BLOG:
Foreign Anti-Bibi Money Floods Into Israel
The title of today’s blog should come as no surprise because the amount of foreign money flowing into Israel is staggering.
Leftist “human rights” organizations and leftist governments regularly try to change demographic facts in Area C, support terrorists in Israeli courts, incite the Israeli-Arab population, and try to bring the “left” to victory in the elections.
In this latter regard, one might ask where the money is coming from to fund the endless Black Flag demonstrations that started taking place once again last night after a week’s respite.
Who pays to bus the protesters? Who pays for the signage? Who pays for the parade and site permits? Who pays for fines that protesters receive for not following Corona guidelines?
A report on Israel’s Channel 20 last night provides some of the answers. Here are some of the organizations on record for providing financial support to the anti-Netanyahu forces:
The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (German Government): $45,337
Heinrich Boell Foundation (German Government): $11,764
ZFD Foundation (German Government Financing): $13,080
Human Rights Defenders Foundation Switzerland: $70,730
Norwegian “Protection of human rights defenders” project: $7,734
Danish “Protection of human rights defenders and advocacy” project: $42,537
In total, more than $200,000 has been given to the anti-Bibi demonstrators this year.
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if Israeli human rights organizations fomented demonstrations against the government in other countries?
