Disturbing Quote Of The Day
“What characterizes this Covid-19 wave is that patients arrive in a more difficult situation. In the first and second waves, we saw an improvement in the condition of the hospitalized within about seven days of treatment. Now, after 10-14 days, there is a sudden deterioration that includes severe lung disease and systemic collapse. The disease has changed itself, perhaps as a result of the British mutation. “

TODAY’S BLOG
The Residents Of Samaria And The Whole State of Israel Thank You!
The facts are straightforward.
A 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist came to the Giti Avishar Junction on Road 5 today, took out a knife and began to attack Cpl. Lian Harush, a 22-year-old chayal boded (lone soldier) from England who has served in the IDF for the last 16 months.
As Lian tried to fight off the terrorist using her gun, she was wounded in the arms and hand. As the attack continued, Lian’s platoon commander on the scene shot the terrorist dead.
It later turned out that the terrorist was from the nearby Palestinian settlement of Salfit. He had attended high school in the morning, failed a test, and decided to go kill an Israeli.
In a refreshing change to the harsh criticism our soldiers have been subjected to in recent months when they tried to defend themselves, the commander of the Ephraim Regional Brigade, Col. Yiftach Nurkin, praised Cpl. Harush and her platoon commander for their performance.
The head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and made this remark:
“You soldiers are heroes who prevented a much more serious attack. The residents of Samaria and the whole state of Israel thank you.”
And so we do.
Israel is incredibly lucky to have such wonderful young people fighting for our country.
