A few of Netanyahu’s comments at the meeting: “The fight against Iran and its metastases and with Iranian armaments is a huge task. The situation that exists today does not mean that this is a situation that will exist tomorrow. It is very difficult to explain what we have brought about here in Israel . . . from complete helplessness . . . to a global force. I hope that you will continue on this path, and you will continue to keep the sword of David in your hands.”

The Natanz facility suddenly lost power several hours after it put its most sophisticated centrifuges on line for the first time yesterday. Ali Akbar Salahi, the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, declared this morning that what happened at Natanz yesterday is “nuclear terrorism.”

We put Palestinian in quotation marks because even though the residents of Issawiya are technically part of Israel, most of them self-identify as Palestinian.

The way that wild animals are now proliferating in Israeli urban areas is becoming worrisome. Wild boars roam the streets of Haifa at will, and jackals are everywhere. The jackal above was photographed last night on a street in Rishon LeZion.

An amazing meeting between the head of the Samaria Regional Council and a representative from Sudan.

Quite amazingly, the above photo–which was taken in an undisclosed “third” country–features Yossi Dagan gifting a hanukkiah to Dr. Omar al-Sheikh and his wife. The two were meeting to promote the sale of goods from Samaria in Sudan.
