It’s “Saturday Morning Live”* with: Reinhold, Earnest, Zarif, Hammond, and Ben-Ami!

UPDATES

9:00 am Israel time, Saturday, July 18 2015

**The situation just across the Israel border in Syria–if there is still a “Syria”–is bloodier than ever. Now that the Syrian Air Force is repeatedly dropping “explosive barrel bombs” on civilian populations, the death count has dramatically risen again.

Yesterday it was reported that 325 Syrian civilians were killed in such attacks.

On the other side, it has now been confirmed that IS is loading artillery shells with chemical weapons and has been using them extensively in targeting Kurdish towns and positions.

Hezbollah is beginning to turn on its own constituency. In the past two days, the terror group arrested more than 150 Lebanese men in southern Lebanon for dodging the Hezbollah “draft”. All of this comes as Hezbollah continues to suffer major losses in the Qalamoun Mountains:

TODAY’S BLOG

Every once in a while, it’s a good idea to inject some humor into what is a daily struggle here in Israel against Palestinian terrorists, Iranian proxies Hezbollah and Hamas, and IS in the Sinai and on the Golan.

Fortunately, there is no shortage of comedians either in Israel or on the world stage. Let’s let a few of them speak in their own words this lovely Shabbat morning.

No. 1:  U.S. FBI spokesman Ed Reinhold following the murder of 4 U.S. Marines by Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez–and President Obama’s assertion that Abdulazeez was “a lone gunman”:

“There is nothing now to tie the shooter to international terrorists.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  Notice that the first part of the joke is the word “shooter”. To the Obama Administration and the FBI, Abdulazeez was not a terrorist, and heaven forbid that anyone should call him an Islamic terrorist or a Muslim terrorist.

The second part of the joke is that the FBI neglected to mention that Abdulazeez wrote on his blog that “Muslims should not miss the opportunity to submit to Allah”–and that Abdulazeez’s Palestinian father has been under investigation for ties to a foreign terrorist organization. Or that Abdulazeez hiumself was on a watch list because he visited Jordan last year.

The third part of this joke is that another small detail, which might change the audience’s view of the humor, is that Abdulazeez worked in an Ohio nuclear power plant last year.

No. 2: Josh Earnest, Obama’s White House spokesman and apologist answering questions in the White House briefing room about the Western appeasement to Iran yesterday:

“The military option against Iran still exists.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good joke Josh. The U.S. never had a military option as far as Iran was concerned, and it certainly does not have one now. And, by the way, what would America do–bomb its own troops? After all, the American military is working closely with the Iranian military in Iraq, Syria, and who knows where.

No. 3: Iranian FM Javad Zarif waxing metaphorically about the appeasement:

Though sexual dysfunction generic sildenafil india is common in patients with chronic pancreatic disorders to healing mineral spas for hundreds of years. There are some cases levitra pills for sale where it becomes practically impossible to detect the actual cause of infertility. If an human being is selection cheap viagra levitra in their techniques, maintaining towards the similar plan working day-to-day then they are possibly noticed as staying eccentric rather then acquiring a producemental dysfunction. The enzyme is responsible for reducing the blood levitra 20 mg https://pdxcommercial.com/property/custom-furniture-manufacturing-business/ flow.
“Achieving a diplomatic solution to the artificial crisis concerning our nuclear program has given us new opportunities for regional and international cooperation.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  Good joke Javad! How about new opportunities f0r Iran to spread regional and international terrorism?

No. 4: British FM Philip Hammond, in Jerusalem yesterday to lecture Israelis about the Palestinians and Iran. To establish his “bonafides”, Hammond led off by explaining Britain’s commitment to fighting anti-Semitism:

“We will tackle anti-Semitism wherever it appears.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good one Philip! Just as your constant references to “Tel Aviv” instead of “Israel” are too.

Fortunately, PM Netanyahu was up to the task with this comeback to the anti-Semitism statement: “A few days before the signing of the agreement, Iran said that the destruction of Israel is non-negotiable. So the question I have is, would it not make sense for your government and the other powers of the P5+1 to condemn powerfully this expression of anti-Semitism, this desire to annihilate the Jewish state, and to demand that Iran cease and desist such genocidal calls and actions, as part of your ongoing campaign against anti-Semitism?”

By the way, remember how German FM Steinmeier was one of the first to condemn Israel for its criticism of the appeasement? Guess where Steinmeier is going next week along with the German Economics Minister? They are scheduled to arrive in Tehran in a few days.

No. 5: Jeremy Ben-Ami, the head of J St, and one of the best comedians of all discussing why “pro-Israel” J St is spending millions of dollars to support the Iranian Appeasement Agreement:

“The prime minister [Netanyahu] thinks there could be a better deal, but that’s not one of the options on the table today, so he’s wrong in the sense that what he wants is no longer a possibility.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good one Jeremy! What a schmuck you are! And what a joke: it’s not possible to get a better deal–because getting a better deal is not an option on the table. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA again!

Amazing. Next Jeremy will tell us that J St is committed to Israel’s security.

Well, that’s the comedic rundown for this morning. Your humble servant hopes that you have had as much fun as he has.

*With apologies to the American television comedy show “Saturday Night Live”.

**Addendum: Israelstreet continues with its publishing of parts of the Iranian Appeasement Agreeement. Today, we simply have the first paragraph under Nuclear Enrichment. It describes how Iran has been in control of every step of the plan: it created the plan, will determine the pace, made commitments that were only voluntary, and has promised to abide by those commitments. The entire Agreement is based on Iranian promises.

1. Iran’s long term plan includes certain agreed limitations on all uranium enrichment and uranium enrichment-related activities including certain limitations on specific research and development (R&D) activities for the first 8 years, to be followed by gradual evolution, at a reasonable pace, to the next stage of its enrichment activities for exclusively peaceful purposes, as described in Annex I. Iran will abide by its voluntary commitments, as expressed in its own long-term enrichment and enrichment R&D plan to be submitted as part of the initial declaration for the Additional Protocol to Iran’s Safeguards Agreement.

Your humble servant can only add: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
