Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Here are 3 things I am thankful for today:
1. That the Likud Coalition is in power in Israel! Otherwise, Jerusalem would have already been divided, Syria would be sitting on the Kinneret, and thousands of Palestinian “refugees” would be relocating to Tel Aviv. In a sycophantic effort to please Obama, Livni would have given away the store.
2. The IDF and the American army! Despite being villified at every turn, both Armies continue to protect Israel and the U.S. against all odds–kudos to all of our people in uniform.
3. All of my family and friends in Israel and the United States! Let’s eat some turkey and play some football.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
