***Palestinian terrorism in the last 24 hours . . .
Just over three hours ago at 2:18 pm, a female terrorist attempted to stab an Israeli at the western entrance to Kiryat Arba near Hebron. The intended victim was not wounded. The terrorist was shot; her condition is unknown.
There have been more than 30 other attacks throughout Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem. Terrorists hurled Molotov firebombs at such places as Jalazun, A-Ram, and the tunnel entrance to Jerusalem. “Rock” assaults took place at Efrat, Burin, Psagot, Rachel’s Tomb, Silwan, Hebron Hills, Malik, and at more than twenty other locations.
***Weinstein strikes again . . .
As the days of his term dwindle down, Israel’s Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein continues to do everything in his power to subvert the country.
This afternoon, Weinstein announced that he has opened an investigation “against the police officer” who shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist at the Mahane Yehuda market last month.
What you cannot see clearly is the pair of scissors that the terrorist was stabbing with in her right hand.
If Weinstein had his way, all Israelis would be rendered defenseless.
***Wild weather in Israel, again . . .
Today has seen heavy rains throughout the country, focused in the Negev. Road 90 to the Dead Sea has been closed as sections of it have been washed away by flooding. Hail and snow have blanketed the area around Mitzpe Ramon.

***News from the war in Syria . . .
Lebanese newspapers report that 16 Hezbollah soldiers have been killed in the last 48 hours–as well as the head of Lebanese Army Security.
The Lebanese Head of Security (to the left) was killed near Aleppo.
That head of security had recently been photographed with–you guessed it–Iranian General Qasem Soleimani (whose own condition remains unknown).

It has always disgusted your humble servant how President Obama and his minions use Jewish holiday events at the White House to undermine and delegitimize Israel.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand Obama strategy. Simply put, by holding such “Jewish” events and inviting large numbers of “Jews” who delegitimize Israel to come and fawn all over Obama, the White House legitimizes Obama criticism of Israel. After all, how can Israel or anyone else possibly criticize a president who goes out of his way to embrace “Jews.”
Even more devious is the part of the White House strategy that involves sprinkling the Jewish delegitimizers with occasional weak-kneed Israeli supporters–supporters who cannot refuse a White House invitation and who happily clap along when the “Jewish events” are transformed into a statement of Obama doctrine concerning Israel and the Palestinians.
This past week’s Wednesday White House Chanukah parties were a case in point.
Featuring such anti-Israel stalwarts as J Street President Jeremy Ben Ami and J Street U president Amna Farooqi, and nonstop Israel bashers such as Dancer-turned-US Reform President “Rabbi” Rick Jacobs, the Chanukah parties were a sight to behold.
But the biggest sight was in the White House itself where Israel’s “I don’t have a clue” President Reuven Rivlin stood alongside Barack Obama as “Rabbi” Susan Talve of the Central Reform Congregation of St. Louis delivered a three minute rant before lighting the Hanukkiah candles for the evening.

Obviously Talve was handpicked for the assignment by Barack Obama.
Talve, a leader who has made the Sanctuary of her Congregation a home for anyone and everyone who has something to say against Israel including organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace, supports the boykott of products produced in Judea, Samaria, eastern Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.
She is a member of the Executive Board of T’ruah, the self-described “Rabbinic Call for Human Rights”–an organization that has as its sole mission an attack on everything Israeli.
What a surprise.
And so it was no surprise when her Chanukah “message”– which began with her focusing on “Black Lives Matter” campaign, and interjected support for the Israeli “Women at the Wall” group–concluded with Talve blabbering that
“[We] must ensure justice for the Palestinians Insh’Allah, Insh’Allah, Insh’Allah!”
And it was no surprise to see a beaming President Rivlin standing behind her applauding like a blithering idiot.
All in all, President Obama and his minions could not have been happier. Undoubtedly, they are already planning their next attack against Israel.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
