UPDATES 9 am Israel time:
…Palestinian terror yesterday unreported in the mainstream media…
*It was a relatively quiet day out in the wilds of Judea and Samaria with 17 reported terror incidents including multiple “rock” assaults in the area around Hevron including Mt. Hevron and Hevron Hills.
The largest concentrated attack occurred near Negohot where Molotov firebombs and “rocks” targeted Israeli motorists. MADA did not report that anyone was physically wounded.
*Speaking of the Hevron area, it was reported that a number of the Molotov and “rock” attacks emanating from Dura are the work of yet another terrorist who was released in the Gilad Shalit exchange years ago.
He was captured yesterday.
How many “Shalit terrorists” that were released have returned to terrorism? No official count is kept (that is publicized), but the number is somewhere between 30-40.
*Terrorism of a different sort continues to take place daily on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where the Islamic Wakf supervises illegal construction work all the time.
Yesterday, however, in a virtually unprecedented action, Israeli authorities charged 5 Palestinians (including the primary Wakf engineer) with carrying out “work” without the requisite approval of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
The five were remanded for five days.
…Meanwhile in Syria…
The situation on the Israeli border near Quneitra has gone from bad to worse. Yesterday, Israel carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah convoys coming to and from the city (if you can still call it that).
It was reported last night that more than 1000 Iranian militiamen (Iranians and mercenaries from Afghanistan and Iraq) along with an undetermined number of Hezbollah militants have poured into the area now that the Jabhat Al-Nucera forces aligned against them have fragmented away from Al-Qaeda and are in disarray.
Israel has repeatedly warned that it will not permit Iranian soldiers to be stationed on the border.
…Kudos to the Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center…
Located in Bnei Brak, the Medical Center now has the 3rd most active maternity ward in Israel. That in itself is no surprise because the Medical Center caters to the orthodox religious community whose women have the most babies.
However, what is surprising is that secular women are now beating a path to the Center as well because of its state-of-the-art maternity facilities. Just yesterday, a completely new maternity ward was opened which is supposed to be the most advanced in the country. It is being described as “a luxury hotel.”

TODAY’S BLOG:
To some of us, yesterday’s “blockbuster” announcement about so-called “humanitarian” monies and materials being poured into the hand of Hamas in Gaza was not so blockbuster.
After all, regular readers of this blog know that your humble servant always describes the groups in Gaza as “so-called humanitarian” and the monies and supplies as “humanitarian” in quotation marks.
So yesterday, it was announced that a leading figure in the Hamas hierarchy had revealed that World Vision Gaza had funded the building of tunnels and military facilities in Gaza in addition to funding the salaries and kickbacks to Hamas terrorists. This was all done through a nefarious network of “false front” accounts and the creation of numerous fake jobs for Hamasniks.
Was World Vision aware of where their millions were going? Perhaps a better question is how could World Vision not have been aware of where their millions were going?
Let’s backtrack for a moment and remember who World Vision is. According to the “Who We Are” on their website:
“World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.”
According to the “What We Do”:
“We believe in a full solution to poverty and injustice. We provide emergency assistance to children and families affected by disasters and conflict, partner with communities for long-term solutions to alleviate poverty, and advocate for justice on behalf of the poor.”
According to “Why We Serve”:
“Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.”
Fraud. Fraud. Fraud.
World Vision Gaza is no more humanitarian than Islamic State. World Vision Gaza’s idea of “long-term solutions” is to arm a radical terrorist group. World Vision Gaza’s version of God’s unconditional love apparently does not apply to Israeli Jews.
This morning, Australia pulled the plug on World Vision saying that it was suspending all connections to the organization. We hope that other countries will quickly follow suit.
But this wasn’t the only news on the so-called “Christian humanitarian” front yesterday.
It was reported that an official of the EAPPI organization, the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel–a subsidiary of the World Council of Churches–was stopped at the Allenby Bridge several weeks ago and declared persona non grata in Israel.
For her continuing efforts to undermine the state of Israel, Milly Richie earned the rare “black seal” on her passport. She will not be permitted back into Israel until the year 2036.
And who was it that exposed Richie? None other than one of our heroes: Father Gabriel Naddaf of Nazareth.
Kolakevod to Father Naddaf!
The bottom line today is that for all of the Christian organizations doing wonderful work in Israel such as Father Naddaf’s group and Christians United For Israel, there are an equal number of hideous “Christian humanitarian” organizations which spare no expense in trying to delegitimize and destroy this country.
