Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Along the Gaza border:
An explosive detonator discovered this morning attached to a balloon cluster launched by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.
This particular balloon was found in the Lachish region approximately 30 km from the Gaza border.
It is important to remember that explosive “balloons” continue being launched against the civilians of southern Israel everyday.
In Judea and Samaria:
A heavily armed Palestinian terror squad tried to infiltrate Israel from Tulkarm last night. All four members were shot; unfortunately, they all survived and are currently and ludicrously being taken care of in Israeli hospitals. No IDF soldiers were wounded.

Germany declared today that it will not accept Iran’s decision to abrogate the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement.
If you are shaking your head dear reader, then you are in sync with your humble servant who wonders how Germany can even make such a statement.
Of course, we all know why the Germans are so intent on the Agreement continuing. That is simply because German companies immediately flooded into Iran after the Agreement was signed and made millions of dollars making deals with the ayatollahs. The Germans do not want to see the money faucet turned off.
So the next question is how far will the Germans go (aka what promises and how much money will they give) in keeping the Iranians on board.

If there is one thing we have learned during the reign of PM Netanyahu, it is that we can never believe anything that Netanyahu says about construction of Jewish residences in Judea, Samaria, and eastern/southern Jerusalem.
Netanyahu’s modus operandi is to travel to the site of recent terror attack, pledge that he will build more apartments at or near the site, allow the planning process to proceed, and then freeze the process before construction can begin.
It has happened over and over and over again ad nauseum.
This morning it was the Har Homa neighborhood of southern Jerusalem where Netanyahu froze 2000 new homes for Jews.
The Prime Minister’s Office issued this absurd statement:
“Israel has built in Jerusalem, is building in Jerusalem, and will continue to build in Jerusalem – while exercising discretion.”
While exercising discretion. This is nothing more than code for “everything is subject to the whim of Netanyahu.” And as we all know, nothing is more important to Netanyahu than maintaining the status quo even if it is to the detriment of the Jewish citizens of the country.
In other words, what happened at Har Homa today was Netanyahu as usual.
It is also vintage Netanyahu for him to begin to ridiculously backtrack on annexation of the Jordan Valley and the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria.
Heaven forbid that we should change the status quo.
