We joked about that a tornado would likely be the next meteorological event.

Welcome Home Bnei Menashe!
A member of the tribe of Menashe with her daughter, the Bnei Menashe arriving at Ben Gurion Airport after a long flight.
252 new immigrants from the Bnei Menashe tribe arrived in Israel yesterday. This tribe was sent into exile at the time of the Assyrian conquest of the northern kingdom of Israel in 712 BCE. They eventually settled in what is today Myanmar and northeastern India.
Now numbering in the tens of thousands, these Jews who maintained their faith through all the centuries are coming home. What a miracle they are!
We welcome them with open arms!
