The Gaza War Day 213, The War in the North

SECOND UPDATE 11:00 PM

*The IDF Spokesman:

IDF forces are now attacking and operating against targets of the terrorist organization Hamas in a targeted manner in eastern Rafah.

*Columns of IDF tanks are entering eastern Rafah.

*The IDF is currently attacking from the ground and from the air buildings in the Rafah crossing area.

*Hundreds of Gazans are trying to flee Rafah into Egypt. Egyptian soldiers are attempting to block them.

*Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired missiles at 10:59 pm at Sderot and two hours earlier at the area around Sderot.

*HamISIS claims it agreed to a ceasefire deal, but the ceasefire deal it agreed to was not the one that Israel agreed to. HamISIS continues to demand an end to the war and the removal of all IDF forces from Gaza.

The Biden Idiocy Worsens

*Following the killing of 4 IDF soldiers at the Kerem Shalom Crossing yesterday, Israel closed the Crossing. In a telephone conversation today with PM Netanyahu, Biden “demanded” that Israel reopen the Crossing.

Unbelievable.

*A senior Biden official has just blamed Netanyahu for the breakdown in ceasefire talks with HamISIS.

Unbelievable.

*Biden’s demand comes in the wake of reports last week that the U.S. has delayed the shipment of ammunition and other armaments to Israel due to objections from the White House.

Unbelievable.

If President Biden had not already gone off the deep end, he certainly has now.

FIRST UPDATE 6:00 PM

May Their Memories Be For A Blessing

Sergeant Michael Rozel, 18 years old, from Rishon Lezion, a fighter in Battalion 931, the Nahal Brigade. He was killed in the mortar attack at Kerem Shalom.

And:

Sgt. Ruben Mordehai Assouline, 19 years old from Ra’anana, a fighter in the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade–killed at Kerem Shalom.

All 4 of the above soldiers were killed in a barrage of 114 mm short-range “Rajoum” rockets on Kerem Shalom–a barrage that was quickly “claimed” by the Al-Qassam Brigades of HamISIS.

The mortar/rockets were fired from Rafah.

Here at OneIsrael we have often lamented through the years and in various wars how the IDF leaves our soldiers as sitting ducks in staging areas around Gaza. A similar attack back in 2014 killed six of our soldiers.

This morning another soldier was announced as having fallen:

Sgt. Avitar Chalaf, 20 years old, from Yeruham.

Sgt. Avitai Chalaf, 20 years old, from Yeruham (no details yet about his branch of service or where he fell).

OneIsrael’s Campaign For Our Soldiers

flag-400

As seen by yesterday’s disastrous attack at the Kerem Shalom Crossing, IDF soldiers on the ground need basic protective gear, armaments, and supplies.

Even during the recent Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.

OneIsrael is now engaged in a campaign to help protect our soldiers. This campaign will extend to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.

Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to the protection of our brave men and women in uniform!

On the Ground in Gaza

Following the attack on Kerem Shalom, our so-called “War Cabinet” has given the go-ahead to begin evacuating Rafah in advance of our operation there.

Durint the day, the IDF and IAF have carried out numerous attacks in Rafah:

The IAF hitting a HamISIS target in Rafah this morning.

The IAF hitting a HamISIS target in Rafah this morning.

In the past hour, HamISIS has announced that it has frozen all negotiations for a ceasefire/hostage release.

Also in the past hour, Egypt has closed the Rafah Crossing from Gaza into Egypt with a concrete wall.

On the Ground in the North

Two Israelis have been critically wounded by a Hezbollah suicide drone attack on Metulla.

More than 60 missiles were fired at northern Israel yesterday.

Once again, IAF planes attacked Hezbollah sites deep in Lebanon in the Baalbek Valley last night and this morning.
