Special Notice

Yom HaShoah begins tonight at sundown. All Israelis will silently stand at attention at 8 pm this evening and again tomorrow morning at 10 pm in remembrance of those who were murdered in the Holocaust. We here at OneIsrael suggest that you do the same. Stand for a minute and remember.

Special Notice 2

Your humble servant will be traveling between today April 27 and May 11. This blog will be published in abbreviated form as is possible given limited internet access.

The Egregious Photo of the Day

In a highly unusual order, the government in the form of the Israel Police has outrageously issued an order banning all Jews from the Temple Mount “until further notice.”

So what has the Jordanian-Palestinian Islamic Wakf done?

Now we have a campground at the holiest place in Judaism.

It has turned the holiest place in Judaism into a campground.

The Egregious Quote of the Day

Senator: What will the Biden Administration do to address the Iranian ballistic missile program?

Secretary of State Antony Blinken: We will do nothing.

Secretary of State Blinken testifying before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee today. In the same testimony Blinken reiterated that the Biden Administration is determined to reach a nuclear deal with Iran–and admitted that Iran is only “weeks away” from having the material to build a nuclear bomb.

Terror On All Fronts

On the Palestinian front:

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis in more than 3 dozen locations. The most egregious incident was at Kabatiya in Samaria where our forces were fired upon. No Israelis were wounded; 2 terrorists were shot and killed.

On the northern (Lebanese) front:

An IDF force working with Israel Police on the Lebanese border last night intercepted a major attempt by Hezbollah to smuggle weapons into Israel. Looking at the photo below, you will notice that the major weapons seized were “spray grenades”–grenades that are used in terror attacks to spray shrapnel into large crowds:

On the Jordanian front:

Another joint IDF/Police operation seized 24 handguns that were being smuggled from Jordan into Israel by a Palestinian gun smuggler:

All of the above comes in the context of news today that Hamas is setting up cells in Paris, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, and Malaysia to attack Israelis.

At the same time, Israel carried out another attack in Syria overnight on Hezbollah and Iranian proxy terrorists. According to Syrian reports, 5 Syrian soldiers and 4 foreign soldiers were killed.

And so it goes today in a country surrounded by terror threats on all sides.
