The Capture of Bassam Al-Saadi:

Continuous Updates Throughout The Day

Update 6 pm Israel time . . .

Southern Israel continues on high alert at this hour.

Click here to watch the video of Al-Saadi’s capture. As you can see, soldiers had to drag him in the street, and a dog bit him in the leg.

Concerned about the release of the above video, Israel released these photos of Al-Saadi:

These photos are supposed to make Islamic JIhad feel better.

Bassam Al-Saadi, the Islamic Jihad leader in Jenin, was captured in a raid on his stronghold last night. Immediately the terror group vowed revenge.

Israel has now closed the Erez Crossing, all roads around the Gaza Border, and all train service south of Ashkelon in anticipation of sniper, anti-aircraft, and missile fire from Gaza. All visits by family members of Gaza terrorists in Israeli prisons have been canceled (there never should have been any in the first place).

We will update this situation as warranted.

Elsewhere . . .

More than 50 terrorists in Hevron, Kfar Kibia, Harmela, Rahma, and El Hug Yala have been arrested in the last two days.

Five more terrorists were wounded in a firefight with IDF troops at Kfar Fara in eastern Samaria.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with Molotovs, “rocks”, and IEDs on Road 465 west of Neve Tsuf (Israeli wounded), Road 55 at the Azon Junction, on Road 55 between Alfie Menashe and Eliyahu Nazim, between Na’ala and the Postal Junction, and at a myriad of other locations.
