UPDATE 10:00 PM

*361 IDF soldiers, police, and first responders have fallen in battle.

*239 hostages are held in tunnels below Gaza. After teasing about possible releases for several days, HamISIS has cut off all “negotiations.” Again, we have no idea how many of the hostages are alive or dead.

*According to the IDF, the HamISIS battalion organization in northern Gaza has disintegrated, and the terrorists are fighting in a disorganized manner.

*At this hour, IDF forces are fighting in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya, and there has been continuous artillery fire at Khan Younis.

*Numerous terrorists were captured in central Gaza today and revealed important information about HamISIS infrastructure.

*Shifa Hospital: last night the IDF offered to provide emergency fuel for Shifa Hospital; Hamas rejected the offer. IDF soldiers delivered the fuel to the hospital anyway. This evening a false rumor has gone viral that all the patients in the Shifa ICU have died because the hospital has no fuel to continue basic services.

An Interesting Sculpture in Tel Aviv Today

Angel noose

Look closely and marvel. This “sculpture” is in Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv–usually the home of the uber left. What you see are angel wings that have the photos of all those kidnapped and killed on October 7th. In the middle is a noose declaring that the killers and kidnappers should be executed by hanging.

Here at OneIsrael we agree that the death penalty should be applied to these terrorists, and hanging is specified by Israel law in extreme cases such as that of the only person ever executed in this country, Nazi Adolf Eichmann.

UPDATE  6:00 PM

In the South:

Missile and mortar fire:

Kerem Shalom (16:55); Holit (15:00)

In the North:

The afternoon has seen intense activity in the north. An anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon hit a truck belonging to the Israel Electric Company. One employee was critically wounded and 5 more seriously.

7 IDF soldiers were moderately wounded when a mortar exploded at their position near Manara.

10 Israelis were wounded by shrapnel from a missile in the upper Galilee: 2 are listed in serious condition, 8 in moderate.

15 other missiles were launched from Lebanon with incoming missile sirens sounding in Akko and Haifa (16:30), northwestern Israel (15:48); Kiryat Shmona (15:27)

The target map at (16:30): at the top left of the map is Rosh HaNikra on the Lebanon border:

UPDATE 1:00 PM

The IDF has now opened numerous routes for those in northern Gaza to move to southern Gaza. In addition to the two already operational, routes from the Shifa, Rantisi, and Nasser Hospitals are now open.

Xwarmap

The above map from Warmapper gives a good general idea about where things stand; however, it is misleading because many areas in the green “Hamas controlled” areas are now under Israeli control such as the entire coastline of northern Gaza and all of the evacuation routes. In addition, some 35% of the buildings in the green area have been destroyed in IAF strikes.

UPDATE  8:00 AM

Photos of the Morning

The following “Before and After” photos of Al-Rashid Street on the Gaza Promenade were published yesterday by the Al-Arabiya newspaper in its online edition. What hell has Hamas wrought? Is this what Hezbollah wants Beirut to look like?

On The Ground

It was reported last night that the IDF’s 401st Brigade using a mix of IAF, tank, and artillery has destroyed Outpost Badr of HamISIS’ Shati Battalion. In the process, 150 terrorists were killed.

The battle continues around the Shifa Hospital. Video emerged last night of a doctor in Shifa bitterly complaining that HamISIS had taken all the food, water, fuel, and medicine out of the hospital. This morning, the IDF is working with the Shifa staff to evacuate all the babies and children from the hospitalit is thought that most of the adult “patients” in the hospital are terrorists.

Missile and mortar attacks so far today in the South

Kissufim (6:45); Kissufim (6:10)

Again, this is mortar fire directed at our soldiers.

The Quotes of the Day

“We own the land, Jerusalem, and the holy places. The flag of Palestine remains high, unites us, and the Zionist Occupation will go away.”

PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas speaking at the Arab League Conference in Saudi Arabia

Let’s repeat that: the Palestinians own the land, own Jerusalem, and own the holy places. The Zionist Occupation (aka Israel) will go away.

This–in Arabic–from the man that the Biden Administration wants to hand over Gaza to at the end of the war. This from the man who professes, in English, that he only wants “eastern Jerusalem and a return to the 1949 Armistices Lines.” This from the head of a terror organization who has never condemned the October 7 massacres.

The second quote:

“Gaza will not be ruled by an authority [aka PLO] that pays murderers and that educates to hatred and whose leader did not condemn the massacre.”

PM Netanyahu speaking at a press conference last night about what will happen when the war is over.
