The Gaza War: Day 50 . . . The War In the North

Yom Shabbat

November 25 2023

UPDATE 9:30 PM

On again, off again, on again, off again, round and round we go on the HamISIS merry go around . . . the terrorists have decided the hostage release can go forward, and our government of sheeple has excitedly agreed.

The new numbers: 13 Israelis will be released and 7 foreign citizens.

The release may happen around midnight.

Unless HamISIS decides otherwise, again.

UPDATE 7:15 PM

Fast moving events.

*There is still no hostage release nor does one seem imminent–though one has to believe that HamISIS will relent by midnight.

*It turns out that the vehicles carrying our hostages last night from the Khan Younis Hospital to the Rafah Crossing were attacked by rock throwers–sending the hostages into a panic.

*HamISIS is still violating one of the main provisions of the agreement by not allowing Red Cross visits to the remaining hostages.

UPDATE 6:50 PM

A senior Israeli official has just threatened that if the hostages are not released by midnight, Israel will immediately resume the attack on Gaza.

UPDATE 6:30 PM

The second batch of Israeli hostages were supposed to have been turned over to the Red Cross two hours ago at 4:30 pm, but that did not happen.

HamISIS is apparently making a new series of demands involving Qatari and Egyptian involvement in the process (it wants Iran instead), the number of humanitarian trucks allowed into Gaza (200 were allowed into southern Gaza today and 50 into northern–as we noted in our last update, and a variety of other items.

UPDATE 4:00 PM

Hostage Update

HamISIS is playing with the families of the hostages again. The 14 hostages that were to have been released this morning has apparently been decreased to 13.

We write “apparently” because HamISIS has Israel completely over a barrel. After yesterday’s surprise when a hostage who had been reported dead suddenly appeared among those released, it is impossible to know what the next hour will bring.

If today goes like yesterday, we will not know until around 7 pm which hostages are coming home.

In Other News

*Israel has permitted 50 “humanitarian” trucks into northern Gaza this afternoon supposedly carrying food, water, and medical supplies . . . and who knows what else? Despite the trucks being checked by security officials, we all know how easy it is to hide ammunition and weapons in food and medical supplies.

*According to Egypt, Israel has agreed to extend the ceasefire by 1 or 2 days. And so we start down the slippery slope.

UPDATE 1:00 PM

Hostage Update

*Reported but unconfirmed: HamISIS will release 14 more Israeli hostages this afternoon, and Israel will turn over 42 more Palestinian terrorists. It is believed that most of the Israelis to be released will come from Be’eri.

*According to some of those released yesterday, some of the Israeli hostages are in poor condition and need medical attention immediately.

In the North, At Sea, On the Jordanian Border

*13 minutes ago at 12:47 pm, there were incoming missile sirens for Eilon, Ya’ara, and Avdon along the Lebanese border.

*The partially owned Israeli cargo ship CMA CGM Symi was attacked by an Iranian drone in the Indian Ocean late Thursday night and badly damaged. There is no word about casualties.

*A large Iranian-backed arms-smuggling operation was intercepted on the Jordanian border today.

*Intense fighting continues in Tulkarm and Shechem. In Tulkarm, two suspected collaborators with Israel were murdered by Palestinian terrorists and hung upside down in a city square.

UPDATE 8:00 AM

Hostage Update

The list of hostages to be released today has belatedly been turned over by HamISIS; however, there is some “hitch” that the Qataris say “needs clarification.” Who knows what that means–except that HamISIS continues to play psychological welfare with the hostage families and Israeli public.

On the Ground and In The Air Last Night and This Morning

In the North

*Warning sirens at Yiftah (06:52) for aircraft penetration.

*The IDF shot down (05:21) a surface-to-air missile missile launched from Lebanon at an Israeli drone.

*A strong explosion “shook” Haifa at (02:48). The IDF has not commented, but it is believed to have been an interception over the city.

All of the launches from Lebanon are under the direction of Hezbollah–even if Lebanese HamISIS or Lebanese Islamic Jihad claim credit.

About The Release of the 33 Palestinian Terrorists Yesterday

First we had the disgusting announcement last night from the Red Crosswhich has done nothing to “facilitate the release” of our hostages buried in HamISIS tunnels:

Rcjoicing that "the detainees" are back with "their families."

Rejoicing that “the detainees” are back with “their families.”

A few of the “child” terrorists released yesterday:

Note that the terrorist in the foreground is already wearing a HamISIS headband. What you cannot see is that the "child" to the left is holding a HamISIS flag in his right hand. These terrorists will try to murder Israelis again in the coming weeks and months.

The “women” terrorists who were released did not even wait to get off the bus to start waving Hamas flags. They will certainly return to terror immediately.

What the Palestinian “children” and women were convicted of and why they were in prison:

Once again, our craven government has stated that none of those released have “blood on their hands” and that the only people released were “stone throwers”. Obviously that is a blatant lie, and what is worse these terrorists were returned to their homes–many of which are in eastern Jerusalem. In several cases, a terrorist tried to kill an Israeli living next door to them. Now they are next door to that Israeli again.
