A heavily armed Hamas terror squad was captured by IDF soldiers as they neared the border fence. The terrorists were carrying IEDs, knives, gasoline, and guns.

Another Palestinian terrorist armed with a knife was captured as he attempted to infiltrate Israel from southern Gaza.

Serious. Emergency. But under control?

What nonsense.

Just this morning we have further data about how out of control the situation actually is.

You will recall that following the direction of Education Minister Yoav Galant, the schools opened in Israel back on September 1. This opening took place despite the objections of every major health official.

It turns out that since September 1 there has been an explosion of Corona cases in the schools. 4,221 students and 1,244 teachers and assistants have become infected with the virus. 

This is twice the number that were infected during the entire period from May to the end of the school year on July 1.

No, Mr, Gamzu, the situation is most certainly not under control.
