The News on the Israeli Street
It has been a day of one terrorist attack after another:
*A terrorist stabbed a border policeman near the Nablus Gate in the Old City. He was shot and killed by other Border Police on the scene.
*In Tekoa, a terrorist infiltrated the fence outside the home of a community member. A resident of the community who is a member of the Tekoa rapid response team ordered him to halt. When he did not, the team member shot him dead.
*An armed Palestinian terrorist from Gaza infiltrated the border security fence and was shot and killed.
*Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at Ras Karkar, Curve 160 near Kiryat Arba, near the Pharmacy Checkp0int beside the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron, at Migdalot, at the Jewish cemetery in Hevron, south of the T Junction in Gush Etzion, at Psagot near Al-Bira, between Ariel and Tapuach, at Beth El, on Road 465 between Rawabi Square and Ateret, at the Gilad axis, between Hizma and Anatot, at Al-Aruv, on Road 458 near Al Moayiir, south of Kochav HaShahar, at Beit Anun, near Neria, between Giti Avishar and the large Yakir Junction, in the vicinity of Har Gilo, and at dozens of other places.

Can The Situation Get Any Crazier?
The two terrorists who butchered stabbed and hacked three Israelis to death with knives and axes in Elad on Thursday night–and critically wounded three more in the ultra-orthodox city have been captured.
And now receive the royal treatment.
When they were finally located, they both demanded cigarettes which were readily supplied to him by the GSS in the belief that they would be more forthcoming about the barbarity if he had a cigarettes to smoke.
Forthcoming about what your humble servant asks? About where he got the axe that he used to chop Israelis to death? About how he proceeded on his bloody rampage? About how he felt before, during, and after the gruesome crime?
WHO CARES?
And then one of the terrorists demanded medical treatment for his leg which was broken during a struggle with one of his victims. Medical treatment was was quickly supplied by the Israeli security forces.
The simple fact is that both of the terrorists should have been summarily shot instead of idiotically coddled by Israeli security forces.
Your humble servant cannot remember a time during which an Israeli government has been more out of control and more at a total loss as to what to do in the face of terrorism.
All that this pathetic government can do is continue to run IDF training exercises, and to reopen the crossings into Israel from Judea and Samaria–which will undoubtedly result in more dead Israelis.
Can the situation get any crazier?
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
