The News on the Israeli Street

Continue your prayers . . .

David Morel (Ben Esther), the security guard wounded in the head in the same attack in which Noa Lazar was murdered at the Shuafat Crossing remains in critical condition.

He immigrated to Israel in 2017 from Brazil and served in the IDF as a lone soldier. His family is now at his bedside and asks for your prayers.

The maritime “agreement” with Lebanon . . .

It appears that the government is going to try to ram the agreement through even before the elections.

Just how bad the agreement is was further underscored today by more revelations–especially revelations about how our vassal state of Israel is wholly dependent on the U.S.

Apparently the agreement will be accompanied by a letter in which the Biden Administration states that it is fully committed to Israel’s security and economic rights (two items that we all presumed the U.S. was already committed to).

Moreover, the Biden Administration ludicrously pledges that it will ensure that gas royalties will not make their way into the hands of Hezbollah. Of course, we know that the Bidenites are powerless to stop Hezbollah from grabbing the cash.

An “agreement” with Lebanon based on a worthless letter and worthless promise–and one that gives up Israeli territory–is what Lapid and Gantz are so eager for us to sign.

A startling revelation from Pfizer . . .

We all know by now that Israel was the guinea pig country that Pfizer tested its mRNA Corona vaccine on.

Yesterday, in a hearing in the European Parliament, a director of Pfizer testified that Pfizer had “no studies that showed that their vaccine prevented the Corona virus.”

Amazing.

A wonderfully shocking result . . .

Maccabi Haifa defeated mighty Juventus 2-0 last night in their Champions League bracket.

Kolakevod!

TODAY’S BLOG:

The War Worsens in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem

To say that terror attacks have spiraled out of control in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem is an understatement. Yesterday, another Israeli soldier was murdered in a drive-by shooting attack.

Sgt. Ido Baruch was killed at Shevi Shomron by a terrorist who sped by an IDF position firing with a 9 mm automatic weapon.

Ido Baruch. May his memory always be for a blessing.

Ido Baruch. May his memory always be for a blessing.

Just as what happened at the Shuafat Checkpoint 4 days ago when Noa Lazar was murdered, none of the Baruch’s fellow soldiers fired a shot.

Astonishingly, after Ido’s murder, the IDF issued orders that from now on IDF soldiers should have always have “a bullet in the barrel.” I say “astonishingly” because everyone thought that the soldiers’ guns were always loaded so that they could repel an attack.

Not so. Apparently most soldiers are just walking around or standing guard with empty weapons.

There were 7 more shooting attacks all over Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem yesterday:

Palestinian terrorists opened fire from a passing vehicle on an Israeli motorist between Pondok and Kedumim.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israeli police in the A-Zaim neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on IDF soldiers near the Beytot Junction in Samaria.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on IDF soldiers in the Palestinian settlement of Jabba near Jenin.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israeli civilians near the Ganot Junction in Samaria.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israelis near Ofer on Road 443.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israelis again at the Shuafat Checkpoint in Jerusalem.

These shooting attacks obviously do not include all of the other terror perpetrated by Palestinians yesterday:

Palestinian terrorists attacked buses with Molotovs and “rocks” between Hizma and Adam, Sebastia, and west of Adorim.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli motorists with IEDs, “rocks”, and Molotovs between Bayitot Square and Einbus Square, Levona, north of Hizma, Al-Aruv, Kedumim, the Jit Junction, and at other locations.

The situation is untenable. The next thing we know is that the attacks will spread to the rest of Israel. After all, our soldiers are neutered, and the government only know how to make concessions to the Palestinians.
