The Video of the Morning

Click here to see a 10 second video which shows the aftermath of the explosion that blew up a terrorist member of the Lions’ Den in Shechem as he got on his motorcycle last night.

The terror group has vowed “painful revenge.”

The Photo of the Weekend

The Har HaBeit (aka Temple Mount) plastered with posters praising the terrorist murderers of Israelis on Friday. Thousands of Hamasniks with black head bands paraded placards around the Mount.

The News on the Israeli Street

The IAF strikes in Syria again . . .

After a strange lull since mid-September which many surmise was a fear of a Hezbollah response related to the Lebanon Maritime giveaway, Israeli aircraft blew up the runway of the Dima Airport west of Damascus and eliminated the YLC-6M radar of the Syrian air defense system.

Talk about cowed . . .

It turns out that Hezbollah terrorists infiltrated the IDF “Gladiola” outpost near the Shebaa Farms (where Israel, Syria, and Lebanon come together) last week.

The IDF General Command ordered the general in charge “not to shoot them.”

Yes, you read that correctly.

This morning that general commented: “I felt a horrible feeling then that we didn’t kill them.”

On the election front . . .

Only 9 days until the election and everyone is attacking everyone.

Lapid warned that Netanyahu will not accept the election results if he doesn’t get 61 mandates.

Gantz accused Lapid, Netanyahu, and Ben Gvir of “conspiring against him”.

The Meretz and Labor Parties sent a message to Lapid last night telling him to stop attacking them in an attempt to poach their voters.

And on and on–in other words, politics as usual.

The Lebanon “Agreement” barrels forward . . .

It appears that the disastrous agreement between the U.S. and Israel (aka the Israel-Lebanon agreement) will be signed this week after the Israel High Court of Justice rejected the 4 petitions against it this morning.

Nonstop War in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem

Shooting attacks yesterday:

Palestinian terrorists opened fire at the Qalandiya Checkpoint. No Israelis were wounded; the terrorists escaped.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on our troops in Dora, Yatta, Azzun, and Deir Nizam overnight during operations to arrest terrorists. None of our soldiers were wounded.

Run-over attacks yesterday:

A Palestinian terrorist tried to run over two security personnel at the Reihan Crossing:

The car rammed into checkpoint as the terrorist tried unsuccessfully to kill two security guards there. The terrorist was injured in the crash and captured.

Another ramming attack took place at the Eliyauhu Crossing. A soldier was wounded in the leg when hit by the car. The terrorist was shot and killed.

In Jerusalem:

A terrorist critically stabbed a 20-year-old Israeli who was walking on the Bar Lev-Sheshat Hayam Road in Jerusalem. When MADA paramedics arrived, they found the victim barely alive with the knife still in his back. He remains in critical condition this morning. A policeman tracked down the terrorist running across a soccer field in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and “neutralized” him when he tried to attack him.

In Judea and Samaria:

The scene of a "rock" and Molotov attack on the Alon Road between Kochav HaShahar and Mount Ephraim. Note the blackened areas and the smoke caused by the Molotovs.

Palestinian terrorists using Molotovs, IEDs, and “rocks” attacked Israelis on the Hosan Bypass between Al Khader and Beitar, on Road 55 between Pondok and Kedumim, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road in the area of Halhol, on Road 5 between Gitti Avishar and Ariel, at Hawara, near the Ma’ale Amos Junction, and at many other places.

One of the cars attacked near Hawara yesterday--note the shattered rear glass.

Palestinian terrorists attacked an undercover unit in Anata last night. Three soldiers were moderately wounded when an IED exploded near them.

And so it goes in Israel this 28th day of Tishrei as a war that no one wants to talk about rages on.
