The Atrocious Photo and 9 Second Video of the Day

By the way, the invitation to this evening of Palestinian “culture and music” organized by Arab students at the university, used the term “Sheikh Munis University” to refer to Tel Aviv University.

The News on the Israeli Street

The war in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, and Gaza . . .

IED, Molotov, and “rock” attacks.

Palestinian terrorists attempted to murder Israelis at the Ofarim Junction, on Road 465 at the Abud Bypass, on Road 60 near Neve Daniel, on Road 458 beside Al Moayyir, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road south of Karmi Tzur, between Mitzpe Shalem and Ein Gedi, at Beit Habarka, near Al-Aruv, south of the Nazam Junction, and at a myriad of other locations.

On the Gaza front . . .

This morning Israel is allowing fiberglass into Gaza for the first time in over a decade.

Ostensibly, the purpose of the fiberglass is to repair fishing boats, but we all know that the real purpose is to use the fiberglass to make weapons.

A miracle at the Jerusalem bombing last Wednesday . . .

One of the victims at the tram stop when the bomb went off in Jerusalem last Wednesday was saved by his Book of Psalms that he had in his pocket in front of his heart:

Notice the hole in the book (on the right side 2/3 down the back cover where "ice-pick" shaped shard entered.

Notice the hole in the book (on the right side 2/3 down the back cover) where “ice-pick” shaped shard entered.

The amazing thing is that the shard stopped precisely on a passage in Psalms 124 that reads:

Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Otzma Proposes Its First Law In The Knesset: Kolakevod!

Itamar Ben Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit Party proposed its first law in the Knesset this afternoon, and it shows the distinctly different and better direction that Israel is headed in.

The proposed law, which like all laws must pass three readings, will make it a crime punishable by three years in prison to interfere with a soldier who is performing his or her duty.

The law actually would be an amendment to the Penal Code which already has such a law regarding interference with a police officer.

The obvious impetus for the new law is what happened in Hevron this past week–and what happens on a daily basis when humanitarian terrorists attack our soldiers.

Otzma Legislator Almog Cohen had this to say:

“The purpose of the bill is to eradicate the despicable phenomenon of anarchist violence against Israel Defense Forces soldiers, to deter lawbreakers and create backup and protection for our soldiers who guard us with their souls, protection that will allow our soldiers to serve our country without fear and professionally.”

Kolakevod to Otzma, and let’s hope the amendment passes quickly.
