Quotes of the Day

Quote 1:

“If the Netanyahu family wants to behave like the Israeli Ceausescu family, then it will end up like the Ceausescu family.”

Left-wing leader Ronan Tzur on Channel 12 discussing the siege of Sara Netanyahu at the hair salon two nights ago.

In case you may have forgotten dear reader, Romanian leader Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena were executed on December 25, 1989. Tzur’s clear implication is that the Netanyahus deserve to be executed.

In an interview on Israeli Channel 14 last night, Sara Netanyahu said again that when the thousands of anarchists tried to get into the hair salon, she was sure that if they had succeeded, she would have been killed.

What has happened to Israel?

Quote 2:

A social media posting by Ehud Barak while Sara Netanyahu was being held hostage at the hair salon in the State Square:

Ehud Barak – אהוד ברק

Photos posted by Barak alongside his posting: the anarchists surrounding the hair salon on the left, and Sara on the right.

Friends,
The goal in the state square has been achieved. The greedy pigs of the ‘family’ have been exposed. It’s time to disperse the siege of the hair salon. We don’t want physical friction with this particular woman, even if she plays a role in all the troubles we are fighting against. Not appropriate. Even harmful. We will have many more difficult struggles. But in the end the coup will fail. Maybe sooner than we thought. Netanyahu will fold or fall.  ✌️🙏🏼⚡️

Notice that Barak says it is time to “disperse the siege” because the anarchists’ goal has been achieved. What was that goal? To expose the “greedy pigs of the Netanyahu family” or simply to terrify those in the hair salon? By the way, one cannot help but see the connection between Barak’s statement and the Left’s constant demeaning of Sara by saying that she looks like a pig.

We should not be surprised at Barak who is reportedly spending vast amounts of money to fund the anti-government movement. Statements like the one above are beyond the bounds of any civil discourse.

Rami Levy’s Message That Leftist Israelis Should Heed

Amidst all the calls from the Israeli left to divest from Israel came a voice in the wilderness yesterday. Rami Levy, the man who is famous for building an empire after an impoverished childhood, delivered this eloquent statement on Israeli TV:

“I am not one of those who call for people to take their money out of the country. There will always be disagreements between me and my friends.

All those who call on people to spend their money elsewhere, not to invest in the State of Israel, and threaten not to pay taxes, are doing unprecedented damage to the State of Israel.

We’ve experienced bus explosions here, we’ve been through wars; those things were much worse than the situation now.

I employ 10,000 people and go through hell in regulation, and I will never say a word against my country, I will never tell people not to invest in my country. I encourage people to invest here, I will not spend one of my shekels abroad like they encourage people to spend their dollars.’

Those people got their money thanks to the State of Israel, and from the beginning they thought of going to Cyprus and paying less taxes. So I call on them – stop confusing your brain, love this country. We have no other country. As I said, there will always be differences of opinion, there is no need to break the dishes.”

Kudos to Rami Levy for telling it like it is.

Following his upbeat message, we wish you

SHABBAT SHALOM!
