War With Gaza: Continuous Updates
UPDATE 10:00 pm Israel time
By our count here at OneIsrael, 453 missiles and mortars have now been fired at Israel since this latest war began.
The IDF says that the Iron Dome interception success rate is 96% as of this hour.

Various reports suggest that Islamic Jihad is resisting a ceasefire because Israel refuses to commit to stop targeted assassinations of its leaders.
UPDATE 9:30 pm Israel time
9:00 pm came and went with no ceasefire. PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Galant have just spoken and have indicated that the IDF will continue attacking Islamic Jihad.
In the last hour, there have been more barrages launched at Sderot and surrounding communities along the Gaza border.

Direct missile hits have taken place on a home in Sderot and another in Ashkelon. There is a report that one Israeli in Sderot has been seriously wounded in the spine.
Nearly 400 missiles and mortars have now been launched by the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.

Missiles are being launched by terrorists in Gaza at the rate of about 100 per hour.
The following communities have been hit in the last hour in barrage after barrage of missiles:
Sderot, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, Nativot, Sha’ar Hanegev, Ashkelon Beach, Eshkol, Gan Reva, Sdot Negev, Palmachim, north Ashdod, Nir Am, Beit HaGadi, east Tel Aviv, Mikva Israel, Holon, Rishon Lezion, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Bet Dagan, Mishmar MaSheva, and Sdot Dan.
The IDF is attacking Islamic Jihad sites in Gaza at this moment.
The Egyptians report that a ceasefire will begin at 9:00 pm.

As of this hour, nearly 300 missiles and mortars have been fired at Israel.
In the last hour:
Another barrage of more than 20 missiles just targeted Ashkelon.
The following communities have been heavily hit in the last hour: Ashkelon, Sderot, Gan Yavne, Hazor, Netivot, and Yad Mordechai.
The IDF reports that it has bombed 40 launch sites in Gaza.
Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon is reporting 11 people being admitted in the last hour–3 were injured running to their bomb shelter; 8 for trauma.
UPDATE 5:00 pm Israel time
As of this hour, more than 200 missiles and mortars have been fired at Israel all the way from Tel Aviv to the Gaza border.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
