Sgt. David Yehuda Yitzhak

Sgt. David Yehuda Yitzhak from the Samarian community of Beit El, a 23-year-old member of the elite IDF Egoz Unit, was killed yesterday as our forces engaged terrorists who were firing at them from the hospital in Jenin.

May the memory of this brave Israeli Zionist always be for a blessing.

Palestinian Terrorists Bombard Sderot, Again

One missile hit the roof of an apartment; fortunately the family inside had made it to their bomb shelter. Apparently none of the incoming missiles were intercepted.

In response, the IDF engaged in the usual pathetic “no response.” A few empty buildings and the same old “underground” facility were supposedly hit. Of course, no terrorists were wounded or killed because Hamas was pre-warned by the IDF.

9 Israelis were wounded–2 critically–when a Palestinian terrorist from the Samua near Hevron drove a vehicle into a group of people on a sidewalk on Pinchas Rosen Street, then jumped out of the vehicle and began stabbing other people.

The absurd fact about the terrorist is that he was permitted to enter Israel on  a “medical” permit despite the fact that authorities were aware of his prior terror affiliations and activities.

Chalk up another murderous attack on Israelis to Israel’s utterly misguided effort to be perceived by the world as “humanitarian.” Also, the terrorist actually posted a photo of himself on June 17 standing in front of the Kipat HaSela (Dome of the Rock) in Jerusalem captioned that he wanted die for Allah.

By the way, the terrorist would have undoubtedly wounded and possibly killed more people had not civilians on the scene shot him. The first person who fired is being applauded as a hero this morning by sane Israelis; the anarchist left is unsurprisingly calling him a murderer because he shot the terrorist again after the terrorist fell to the ground (and was still moving) from the first shot.

The war in Judea and Samaria

“Rock”, Molotov, IED attacks:

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis at Kisan, Hawara, just outside of Ariel, Beit Omer on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road (Israeli woman wounded), Road 458 near Al Moayyir, between Gilad Farm and the Sela IDF post, between Tapuach and Migdalim near Ozrin, at the Avraham Hasnou Junction southwest of Hevron, Road 465 in the Nabi Salah area near Neve Zuf, Aqraba, Beit El, between Ivy Ha Nahal and Ma’ale Amos, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Eikol Ma’ayan, between Halhol and the Karmi Tzur Junction, Bnei Hassan, north of Ofra, Givat Assaf, on Road 457 near the Idit Mizrahi monument, between the Yakir Haggadah Junction and Rabbah, Singil northeast of Ramallah, on Road 55 between Pondok and Kedumim, on Road 55 between Nabi Elias and Azzun, on Road 443 east the Maccabim Checkpoint, and at a myriad of other locations.

The Jenin Operation Comes To An End

IDF forces pulled out of Jenin last night following a last intense firefight with terrorists at the Jenin Hospital (the one in which Sgt. Yitzhak was killed).

Details remain sketchy about what was accomplished over the two days. Apparently 13 terrorists were killed and numerous others were captured.

Security forces dismantled as much of the terrorist infrastructure as possible and destroyed thousands of weapons. In one particularly harrowing action, elite forces went through a tunnel that led from the central mosque to another point in the city clearing out weapons that were stored there.

The bad news, as always, is that the terrorists are still standing. Where are the hundreds that went into hiding when our forces arrived?

Some of them came out of their holes to celebrate today.

To state it bluntly, Jenin continues to smell like Gaza. The IDF never defines its mission as “to eliminate the terrorists.” Instead, we always seem to be satisfied with bloodying their noses, but leaving them to attack us another day.

And attack us they will. How long will it be until terrorists from Jenin murder more Israelis?
