UPDATE 7:00 PM

A Recap of the War So Far

*222 IDF soldiers have fallen in the Gaza ground operation which began on October 27. This morning the IDF announced:

Sgt. Major (res.) Eliran Yeger, 36, from Tel Aviv, a fighter in the 8170 Engineering Battalion, Givati Brigade, was killed in action in the southern Gaza.

May the memory of all of these soldiers be for a blessing.

*Insofar as HamISIS is concerned . . . according to Israeli sources:

Approximately 9,000 HamISIS terrorists have been killed, and 20% of the tunnels have been destroyed.

This means that some 21,000 terrorists remain in Gaza, and 560 km of tunnels remain intact.

Given the daily reports that we have from the IDF spokesman, one would have thought that more terrorists would have been killed and many more tunnels destroyed.

The Fight to Stop “Humanitarian Aid Trucks” From Reaching Gaza

Eliahu Dayan

Eliyahu Dahan at the Kerem Shalom Crossing today. Eliyahu was critically wounded in a terror attack in Jerusalem a year ago and can only walk with crutches.

“We will come here every day, so as not to give the enemy power, I expect to see the entire people of Israel here.”

Eliyahu Dahan speaking at the Kerem Shalom Crossing today.

Israel turned upside down. On the one hand we have successfully encouraged a series of countries such as the U.S., France, the U.K., Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy to halt all aid to UNRWA because of UNRWA employees’ participation in the October 7 massacres, and on the other hand we allow UNRWA “humanitarian aid trucks” to pick up goods at the port of Ashdod and transport them to the Palestinians in Gaza.

But Israelis are fighting against the government’s decision to allow aid into Gaza.

The families of the hostages have waged a successful fight during the last week to stop such trucks from going to through the Kerem Shalom Crossing.

Outrageously, the IDF Southern Command declared the Kerem Shalom Crossing “a closed military zone” today in an effort to keep the protesters out.

And instead, the government began sending the trucks through the Nitsana Crossing 45 km to the south of Kerem Shalom.  Immediately, the families made it to Nitsana and began blocking trucks there.

Below is a photo of one of the trucks:

Kolakevod to all the demonstrators for trying to stop our government’s idiocy.

Meanwhile, the foci of fighting in Gaza continues to be Khan Younis, Gaza City, and west of Nuseirat.

On the Ground in the North

Numerous missile attacks and “aircraft intrusions” along the Lebanese border this afternoon:

Kiryat Shmona (14:00); Arab Al Aramshe (16:08); Zarit, Arab Al Aramshe (16:15); Katzrin (16:29); Katzrin (16:34).

From the IDF Spokesman in the last hour:

“Fighter jets recently attacked military buildings, observation posts and military sites of the terrorist organization in the areas of Marvin, A-Dahira, Eyta A-Sha’ab and other areas in southern Lebanon. In addition, the IDF attacked earlier today (Sunday) an operational headquarters and terrorist infrastructure of Hezbollah. In addition, a number of targets that posed a threat in southern Lebanon were attacked with artillery and tanks. During the day, a number of launches from Lebanese territory were identified that fell in open areas in the areas of Margaliot and Zar’it. To the alerts that were activated in the Katzrin area, interceptors were launched at two suspicious aerial targets.”
