UPDATE 8:00 PM

The Last 24 Hours in Gaza

*A barrage of 15 missiles was fired out of Khan Younis at Tel Aviv:

The barrage was fired at. Most of the missiles were intercepted though there were direct falls in Rishon Lezion.

The barrage was fired at 4:50 pm. Most of the missiles were intercepted though there were direct falls in Rishon LeZion.

Some of the intercepts over Tel Aviv. Note how the interceptors were closely grouped together unlike what normally happens in barrages–the incoming missiles were tightly bundled:

A missile that fell in Rishon LeZion:

Another narrow miss.

Another narrow miss.

It is simply flabbergasting to Israelis that after 115 days of war in Gaza and hundreds of soldiers dead, we still cannot stop the HamISIS terrorists from shooting missiles at us.

Also, this missile barrage comes as numerous reports about an impending hostage release deal with HamISIS continue to swirl about–with every news outlet publishing a different version of what the deal would look like. In short, all of the possible deals would be disastrous for Israel.

*Meanwhile, on the ground, the IDF Spokesman had this to say a few hours ago:

“During the fighting in Khan Younis, the combat teams of the 98th Division raided hundreds of terrorist infrastructures and Hamas positions. The infrastructures included the headquarters of the battalions, training complexes of the terrorist organization Hamas, a communications post, commander of the Khan Younis Brigade, the military intelligence building, a significant factory for the production of rockets and the offices of many senior officials, including the office of Yahya Sinwar.

The fighting in Khan Yunis is characterized by a combined above-ground and underground maneuver. So far, hundreds of shafts have been located and destroyed, some of which lead to significant strategic points for Hamas. In addition, hundreds of terrorists were eliminated in the underground, in face-to-face battles and in aerial attacks.

The special forces and units are making significant progress in the underground medium in Khan Yunis. From the words of the commander of the 98th division, Lt. Col. Dan Goldfuss: ‘We are fighting in a simultaneous maneuver – ground and underground combat at the same time, uniquely and professionally, with the cooperation of special forces, commandos and the divisional combat teams. Hamas terrorists are on the run, we are harming them and harming their underground and underground infrastructure.'”

*The government’s appalling fight against our own civilians continues. 13 protesters were arrested today at the Kerem Shalom Crossing as they attempted to block “humanitarian” aid trucks from reaching Gaza.

Included in those arrested were IDF reservists and wives and mothers of soldiers.

A statement was issued by the protesters: “Today we failed our mission and 130 trucks of supplies and aid to Hamas entered. If there were thousands there – this would not have happened.

Tomorrow thousands and thousands must arrive from all over the country. From the right and left, religious secularists, the residents of the village and the kibbutz together with the families of the abductees and the families of the fighters to block the convoys of supplies and aid to the murderous Hamas. We will all meet at 8.00 at the Gilat junction.”

The Last 24 Hours in the North

*An IDF soldier was critically wounded in a run-over attack near a naval base outside of Haifa. The terrorist was shot and killed.

*Missiles fired from Lebanon exploded in “open spaces” between Manara and Yiftach.

*It has been reported that thousands of fighters from the Golani Brigade have been pulled out of Gaza and repositioned in the north.

The Last 24 Hours in Judea and Samaria

*Overnight, IDF soldiers and Border Police operated in Shechem, Balata, Askar, Azzun, and Akeb. One Palestinian terrorist in Al-Yamon was killed when he fired on Duvdevan fighters.

*Since October 7, nearly 3000 wanted Palestinian terrorists have been captured throughout Judea and Samaria Division–over 1,350 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
