UPDATE 2:00 PM

On the Ground in the South

*Five terrorists were killed in the al-Magazi neighborhood of central Gaza.

*IDF hit terror targets east of Rafah and north of Beit Lahia with artillery.

*Intense fighting continues in Khan Younis with airstrikes north of the city..

*Five more terrorists were killed in a firefight in the maintenance room of the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

From the IDF Spokesman:

“Commando Brigade fighters continue fighting in the densest areas in Khan Yunis and intensify their attacks in western Khan Yunis.

During the fighting, Egoz unit fighters and snipers eliminate terrorists in hand-to-hand combat. With intelligence guidance, the fighters raided terrorist infrastructure and located large quantities of weapons, mortars, combat equipment, underground combat equipment, long-range missiles, RPG missiles and a Fagot missile.

The commando brigade’s fire complex carried out hundreds of attacks, attacking operatives’ homes, observation posts and many terrorists.

Magellan fighters identified and followed a terrorist squad that fired an RPG missile at our forces and directed an aircraft at it that eliminated the squad.”

In our last update, we posted a quiz of 5 quotations yesterday and asked you to match them with “who said it”. Herewith are the answers:

1. “When I look at the dark images of the Holocaust, I wonder where the free world was then. Today I ask myself the exact same question again. Where is the voice of the free world demanding the release of the more than 100 abductees for more than 100 days?”

Argentine President Javier Millay

A powerful statement from a new leader who made it his mission to make Israel the first country he visited after winning the recent Argentinian election. Indeed, where is the voice of the world?

2. “We have a cynical government. The budget brings us back to everything that led to the events of October 7–the rudeness, the complete indifference to the other side, and the political consideration only.”

Yair Lapid, head of the Yesh Atid Party

Lapid never misses an opportunity to undermine the government. But to blame the events of October 7 on the Netanyahu government’s “rudeness, indifference, and political considerations” is beyond the pale–even for the egregiously abominable Lapid.

3. “Every day for the rest of my life I will ask myself and think about the thousands of children killed in Gaza.”

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken

Blinken’s endless fraudulent comments about thousands of dead Gazan children–which do nothing but parrot the Hamas Health Ministry and President Biden–do nothing but undermine Israel.

4.  “The Biden order against the people in Judea and Samaria is inappropriate. It harms an entire community of law-abiding settlers, many of whom fight and fall.”

PM Benjamin Netanyahu

The Biden campaign against the 4 “settlers” in Judea and Samaria is a farce that has nevertheless mobilized other countries against the valiant community members in Judea and Samaria. As we all know, a disproportionately high number of Judeans and Samarians have fallen in battle in Gaza.

5. “There will be normalization without recognition of a Palestinian state, the cessation of “aggression” in Gaza, and a military withdrawal from it.”

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud

The normalization of relations with Saudi Arabia is a delusion–as the Saudis repeatedly tell us. There will be no normalization until PLO flags are flying over Jerusalem, a Palestinian state is recognized by Israel, and the IDF is no longer in Gaza.
